Gayatri, the woman faces a hoard of consequences in a day of life and finally overcomes the odds with her audacious nature. This is the one line of the movie titled same as the protagonists' 'Gayathri'. In the direction of D. Saiendra Reddy, the movie is fast emerging into celluloid produced on Lakshmi Bhavani Movies. Saving three songs, the entire shooting has been completed. The title role Gayatri is played by the real Gayatri Rao of 'Happy Days' fame. Dubbing work has been started from today, Nov 6. One of the left out song will shortly be filmed in the locales of Vizag and Araku. The rest two will be canned in the Film City. It will be started from the 12th of this month. Inspired by a woman's struggle to sheen, the movie that portrays feminism beautifully will be a worthy watch for the ladies out there.
'Gayatri IPS': Audio Release on March 8
The audio of Mumaith Khan starrer 'Gayathri IPS' will be released on March 8 in Chennai. The highlight of the function is that minister Electricity and Rural Industries Minister Arcot Veerasamy will grace the function. 'Sea Records' music company is releasing the music of 'Gayatri IPS' and it sells the CD and cassette at incredible rates of rupees 19.99 and 14.99 respectively. The audio CD of the film in Telugu ('Missamma IPS') was sold for just Rs. 10/- and the total sales of CDs crossed 3.5 lakhs. Sea Records expects the same kind of response in Tamil as well. 'Gayatri IPS', written by Dasari Nararayana Rao and directed by Bharath, has six songs set to tunes by Srilekha. Ganga, Malathy, Suchitra, Sujith, Achu, Prabhakar, and Sri Lekha have rendered the songs. The lyrics have been penned by Piraisoodan.
Gayathri Raghuram - One more to wedding list
It is wedding season in Kollywood. After the likes of Suriya and Jyothika, Renuka Menon, Manoj K Bharathy, Dhiya and Arun Vijay, it is now the turn of yesteryear heroine Gayathri Raghuram to tie the wedding knot. Daughter of acclaimed choreographer Raghuram, Gayathri Raghuram, who acted in few Tamil films, will enter the wedlock with a software engineer from USA. Gayathri Raghuram, who had played heroine in movies including Charlie Chaplin and Whistle, will get married this February. Gayathi Raghuram had ventured to USA to study Visual Communications. Suddenly her wedding got fixed and she would get married this February. The actress had stoutly denied taking up movie offers after her wedding.
Gayathri IPS - An audio CD @ Rs. 19.99!
Not able to believe? But you have to, because Sea Records is releasing the music of 'Gayathri IPS' and you can be the owner of a CD for just Rs. 19.99/-. This is a record of sorts because this is the lowest-priced original music CD that you can lay your hands on. The audio cassettes for the same film are sold as 14.99/- and this is the lowest for an original audio cassette ever in the film industry. In Telugu the same film is 'Missamma IPS' and there the original CDs were sold for a record break low of just Rs. 10/- per CD. Around 3.5 lakh CDs were sold in Telugu. This 'Gayathri IPS' features a total of six songs. This film stars Mumaith Khan in the lead role. The music director of this film is Sri Lekha. Ganga, Malathy, Suchitra, Sri Lekha-the music director, Sujith, Achu, and Prabhakar and chorus have rendered the songs for this film. The lyrics for these songs have been penned by Piraisoodan.
Gayathri Raghuram - In her dad's footsteps
Remember Gayathri Raghuram, the daughter of veteran choreographer Raghuram, she ventured to play female lead in several films in the early 2000. However a string of failures forced her to quit acting and enter wedlock. She got married and settled abroad. After a brief interval, she is back in Kollywood to follow her father's footsteps. Gayathri Raghuram is handling choreography for a song in 'Anandhathandavam'. She is flooded with lots of offers besides hitting a dance show in a popular Tamil satellite channel.

Gayathri Jayaram joins the long list of heroines entering the small screen. She has been roped in to host a chat show in a private satellite channel. The actress, who made a debut in 'Manadai Thirudi Vittai' opposite Prabhudeva, had acted in several films. But unfortunately the movies couldn't do well at the box office and she took to other businesses. After a long gap, she is back to don the grease paint.
