Actor Aamir Khan, who is recovering from an injury, will soon resume shooting for Hindi remake of 'Ghajini'. 'We hope to launch the film by October,' director A R Murugadas said. With A R Rahman scoring music for the remake, the director, who originally planned to have just one melody number, has included another one. Asin plays Aamir's heroine in the movie. She was part of the original too.
Ghajini team ready to team up again
Director A R Murugadoss and Suriya teamed up to render a hit in 'Ghajini'. The movie sky-rocketed both Suriya and Murugadoss to stardom. Murugadoss has almost completed the Hindi version of 'Ghajini'. It features Aamir Khan and Asin in the lead roles. Moving ahead, he says, 'Plans are on to commence my next venture soon. It would be a big venture - produced by myself. I am planning to team up with Suriya for it is a tri-lingual, to be made simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi'. 'Suriya would act in a never before role and it would be a straight contrast to 'Ghajini'', he said. 'The Hindi version of 'Ghajini' has shaped up well. I should thank Aamir Khan for co-operation', he added. He denied reports appeared in few sections of the press that he would be doing a movie with Vishal. 'I will commence the trilingual production venture after the Aamir Khan starrer 'Ghajini' gets released.'
'Ghajini' first look photos creates trouble
This incident can be termed as something that can happen once in a span of 10 lakh years or may be even more. There is no other way to describe the way this strange occurrence has happened. The first look images of Aamir Khan's forthcoming film 'Ghajini' has been released and it has the actor exposing his newly toned and beefed up physique and his now famous head design. However the surprise element of the photographs and which arouses some curiosity are the tattoos that can be seen in his body. The interesting information is that a phone number presented as one of the tattoos wrecked havoc in the life of a lady named Dr. Sukekha. After the publicity photos of Aamir were exposed to the public, Dr. Surekha started to get phone calls inquiring her about the Bollywood star. Later on after trying to know about the reason for the sudden coming of phone calls to her mobile phone, Surekha found out that a number which was written on Aamir's body is her phone number. During the photo session, one of the assistant directors had written down a random number and he never thought he was writing down a real number. Well, there is a possibility that quite accidentally numbers can turn out to be same, but what explanation can be given to the way people started to call the actual owner of the number. Only the observation skills of the common film crazy people can be given as an answer and this incident also echoes out the theory of love for films and film stars being considered equal to a religion in India.
Ghajini First Look on sensational promos
Christopher Nolan's Mementoes fetched the best credits for its fascinating theme of 'Short Term Memory Loss'. Of course, remaking it in Tamil as 'Ghajini' with Surya in lead role, the actor fleeted to the peaks of glory in his career. Here comes the turn of Bollywood Superstar Aamir Khan, an embodiment of extraordinary perfection. "Best than the Best" is the mantra that he follows and his Hindi remake of Ghajini seems to have been spelled on those lines. 60-Secs teaser showcases Aamir Khan in different make-over as an innocent charming lad and a ferocious youngster smashing down baddies. So, what makes the film getting titled 'Ghajini'? Ask Murugadoss and he says, "GHAJINI is derived from the name of King Mohammad Ghajini. His unique attributes is all about committing a great crime in front of others and making them believe he never did it. So does our protagonist carrying the same quotients". Directed by A.R. Murugadoss, Asin stars opposite Aamir in female lead along with Jiah Khan and A.R. Rahman scores music.
All set for Ghajini in Hindi
Finally, everything is set for director A R Murugadoss to commence the Hindi version of his Ghajini starring Aamir Khan in the lead role. Sources close to the director say that the movie would kick off this April and that it is titled the same in Hindi. Aamir Khan would shoot for the movie in Chennai and the actor would deliver a couple of dialogues in Tamil. The movie would have music by A R Rahman. He replaces Harris Jayaraj, who did the musical score for the original. Ravi K Chandran handles the cinematography and stunts are by Kanal Kannan. Ayesha Takia does the role enacted by Asin and Priyanka Chopra plays Nayantara's role in the Hindi version.
Asin in Ghajini remake?
There were rumors that Asin would act opposite Aamir Khan in the Hindi remake of Ghajini. However, it was denied by director Murugadoss himself, who said that Ayesha Takia would play the heroine opposite Aamir Khan in the film. Also the names of Priyanka Chopra and Sushmita Sen were doing the rounds. Now sources say that the baton has been passed to Asin again. It is said that both Murugadoss and Aamir Khan have decided to go back to Asin. Asin impressed everyone playing the heroine in the original opposite Suriya. The Hindi version would have musical score by AR Rahman.
