In the city of palaces Mysore the maiden venture of ad film maker Debora Ann Shea Kannada film 'Athmiya' that is also the debut of Tamil and Malayalam films music director Manoj George - audio cassettes and CD's were released in a grand style at Jaganmohan Palace. Dr.Rajakumar sons Shivarajakumar and Puneeth Rajakumar graced the audio release function to bless the new team. The song and dance of four Kannada films and mimicry Dayanand hilarious moments thrilled the audience assembled at the audio release function. In the ad world from last one decade Debora Ann Shea who produced ads for Volvo, ABB, ITC, BHEL, TVS, British Biological has launched Akhila Films banner in Kannada to produce 'Aathmiya'. Govindaraj with long stint in the camp of one of the dexterous directors of Kannada cinema Sunilkumar Desai is independently handling the direction. Akul Balaji and sensuous Smitha play the lead roles in this film. Rangayana Raghu the popular supporting actor is in a key role of this film. The shooting has been completed in Karwar and Gokarna. Veenus Murthy is the cameraman.

The leading professor Narayan Hosmane the two times Humboldt Award winner of Northern Illinois University hailing from Gokarna in Uttar Karnataka region has made his moves very clear in his fourth film venture. He is again investing his money with his brother Subraya Hosmane as treasurer and once again because Jayanth Kaikini is working on the script with brilliant Roopa Iyer. According to Prof Narayana Hosmane director Roopa Iyer is a beauty with brain and her inner beauty is what touched him to associate in the film 'Mukaphuta'. One should have energy, decision and challenge ' that is what Roopa Iyer at this young age possesses says Prof Hosmane. Remembering his very important friend Gaurish Kaikini and his days in Gokarna the leading professor says I was role model to his son Jayanth Kaikini in those days but today the exhaustive growth Jayanth Kaikini has shown from his lyrical strength, I am his role model the veteran in the field of chemistry Prof Hosmane complimented. Asked on the budget of the film 'Mukhaputa' he says there is no budget limit. I know Roopa Iyer is going to make it in a limited budget without unnecessary spending. What I would say is that the objective of the film to create awareness on HIV AIDS is very important than anything else.
