With Vamsi nothing is surprising. Known for his individualistic style, he is also known for his wacky sense of comedy. So it is did not really shock us when we were told the title of Vamsi's next film. To be called Gopi, Gopika, Godavari Teeram, the film is being made by Valluripalli Ramesh under the Maharshi Cinema banner. Earlier, Vamsi had made Avunu Valliddaru Istapaddaru for the same banner. Chakri will be composing the music for the film. However, the lead pair is yet to be finalized. We will keep you posted!
Vamsis Gopi-Gopika-Gadavari this 6th
Specialized in bringing out speculative stories that fills the entertainment quotient along with delivering musical score is seasoned director and writer Vamsi. His simplicity in the backdrop of his storyline and disparate making got him the niche among the filmdom. His last was 'Anumanaspadam' and now he started his new, casting Venu and Kamalini Mukherjee in his 'Gopi-Gopika-Godavari'. Valluripalli Ramesh and Vamsi, the men behind the stupendous hit 'Avunu Vaaliddaru Ishtapadaru' in Ravi Teja and Kalyani's acting, now unites again for this movie. The official launch of this flick is to be made on 6th of November. Vamsi's slick mark of his directorial talent was exhibited numerous times in the likes of his blockbusters, Sitara ' (Suman, Banupriya), Anveshana - (Kartick, Banupriya), Ladies Tailor - (Rajendraprasad, Archana), April Okati Viduthala - (Rajendraprasad, Shobana) and others. Again the people do have the expectation of a simple and sleek movie from the director's stable.
Gopi With Bujji
Gopichand after the success of Ranam has found favor among many in the industry. The recent one to book him is Nallamalupu Bujji. Bujji after the success of Lakshmi is making a new movie under the direction of Sri Vasu, a former associate of Krishna Vamsi. Bujji has booked Gopichand for the film as the hero. The film will begin in November. Ramana Gogula will score the music. M Ratnam provides dialogues. Bujji says the movie will be a mass one to capitalize on Gopichand'?ÂÂ?s image. Gopichand is currently playing the hero in a film directed by Chandrashekar Yeleti.
Gopi - An interesting team up
Allari Naresh and Jagapathi Babu make for a quaint combination. One is a beanpole of fun and frolic. The other is all solemn seriousness and smartness. The two are pitted together in Janardhan Maharishi'?ÂÂ?s Gopi. Gowri Munjal and Aarti Chabria are female leads. The film'?ÂÂ?s shoot is on now and Janardhan Maharishi is directing a host of characters. Speaking to newsmen on the occasion, the director expressed confidence at the way the film is shaping up. Gopi has a tagline of (Godameda Pilli). Janardhan Maharshi said that Jagapathi and Naresh play an interesting combo. Jagapathi is mentor of sorts while Naresh is a vacillating kind of a character. It is all very interesting. The director disclosed that Sai Kiran, who is playing an interesting role, would be an added attraction.
'Gopi' needs to can four songs
The shooting of the talkie part of 'Gopi' (Goda Meeda Pilli) directed by Janardhan Maharshi and produced on the banner of RS Films was almost complete and canning of four songs remained balance. One of the producers Polisetti Rambabu says, 'We were able to complete the talkie part shooting in two schedules with the active cooperation by the artistes and technicians. Four songs remained balance and they would be shot in the next schedule beginning from September 23 to October 4. We are planning to release the audio in the first week of October and the film on November 2.' Naresh says, 'This is a multi-starrer film as Jagapati Babu, Pradeep, Saikiran, Sriharsha and Vinodkumar are playing together in this film. The film earned me good job satisfaction as an artiste. I am confident that the film would be a big hit. We are also sure that the audiences would receive us well.' Another producer Palli Kesava Rao says, 'Though the film was started small, it became a heavy budget film. The music provided by Koti would remain a highlight for the film. Already we have shot one song for the film and three of the remaining songs would be choreographed abroad.' Director Janardhana Maharshi says, 'The producers are cooperating well in moulding the story as was expected and I thank them very much in this regard.'
'Gopi Godameedi Pilli' to end with the canning of a song
A scene with 'Vaikuntham' in the backdrop, with Suresh playing the role of 'Lord Vishnu' and Rambha playing 'Lakshmi' is being shot at Sarathi Studios for the film 'Gopi ' Godameedi Pilli'. The film directed by dialogue writer turned director Janardhana Maharshi and is being produced jointly by Polisetty Rambabu and Kesava Rao with Allari Naresh, Arthi Chabria and Gouri Munjal in the lead. A song would be canned on Jagapatibabu from October 17. Producer Polisetty Rambabu says, 'We are planning to release the audio at Miryalguda on October 22 in which several young heroes would be present. Koti gave melodious tunes to all the songs. We are also planning to erect some stalls there itself and start the sale of audiocassettes. We have also decided to release the film in the first week of November.'
