You don't need to be an expert in Telugu cinema to say that Gopichand is on a hot streak. Anybody who has given three big hits, is naturally bound to be considered to be on a roll. The buzz now is that Gopichand and Y V S Chowdary are coming together for a new movie. The film has been titled (tentatively) Saleem -Dhummu reputhadu. Gopichand is also planning a new movie with Gopal Reddy. Meanwhile YVS will announce the full details of his new movie with Gopichand on May 1 when he celebrates the 100th day of his hit Devadasu at the Ramanaidu Studios. Dasari Narayana Rao will be the chief guest and a host of celebrities will also be at hand on the occasion.
Gopichand- Paruchuri Murali combo again
Gopichand and director Paruchuri Murali are joining hands for a second time. Their first film 'Andhrudu' was a hit at the box-office. After 'Andhrudu' Murali has not directed a film in a long time. He has made up his mind to direct Gopichand yet again. Senior producer S.Gopal Reddy will produce it on his Bhargav Arts, who will be producing a film after a lengthy gap.
Gopichand - On the rise
Gopichand has emerged as one of the most bankable masala film heroes. He has a very good mass following. And if properly tuned, Gopichand has the chance of making it to the top. After Ranam's success, his stars are certainly on the ascendancy. But Gopichand, who has a cool head on responsible shoulders, is taking one film at a time. He is choosing films with utmost care. Gopichand accepts films only if they are from the right quarters. S Gopal Reddy's Bhargav Arts is certainly a big name in production. So when they have announced a new film, and Gopichand approached for playing the hero, he readily accepted. Paruchuri Murali, who has worked with Gopichand in Andhrudu, will direct the flick. The other details of the movie are still to be finalized. But what looks finalized is Gopichand date with stardom.
'Gopichand and Yeleti' an unlikely coming together
The talking point in the industry these days is the coming together of Gopichand and Chandrasekhar Yeleti. Gopichand is a mass hero. Chandrasekhar Yeleti is from the other stream- Making serious and sensible movies like Aithe, Anukokunda Oka Roju. So the duo joining hands is like cheese and chalk mixing. But stranger things have happened in the industry. At any rate, it is nice that men like Yeleti are getting chances in mainstream. The film also signifies the interest of Gopichand in doing meaningful movies. Produced by Cherry (co-producer of Chatrapathi), the new film is to be made under Clap Entertainment banner. M M Keeravani, a Yeleti favorite, will score the music.
Gopichand's new flick named 'Raraju'
Gopichand proved himself as a mass and action hero with the successes of 'Yagnam' and 'Ranam', while producer GVG Raju brought out nice films with love in their backdrop like 'Tholiprema and Godavari'. Now, Udayshankar who directed a nice family entertainer like 'Kalisundam Raa' had joined these two for their latest flick, which was titled 'Raraju'. The film would be a class and mass entertainer as the film is coming up from three different people. Gopichand is likely to present a powerful and energetic character and enthrall the youth and mass in this film. Moreover, GVG Raju who has a nice taste in bringing out good films is likely to give yet another hit with 'Raraju'. Udayshankar, who gave a super hit film in his debut venture, would surely touch the human emotions with mass elements. The film is coming out on a novel theme and let us hopes it would be yet another big hit in Gopichand's career. After the completion of this film, Gopichand signed yet another film under the direction of Chandrasekhar Yeleti of 'Aithe and Anukokunda Oka Roju'-fame. The film would be on a new pattern and let us hope his latest flick would also be different from routine. After finishing both these movies, Gopichand would play hero in a film to be produced by Nallamalupu Srinivas (Bujji), which would be a commercial entertainer. Bujji who produced a blockbuster like 'Lakshmi' would make the film without compromising at any time and the latest flick would be a heavy budget film in Gopichand's film career.
Gopichand-Bujji's film to roll on from October 25
Gopichand, who earned a mass image with the successes of 'Yagnam and Ranam' is playing hero in a film to be produced by Nallamalupu Srinivas (Bujji), who gave a massive hit like 'Lakshmi' with Venkatesh. The film would have Sri Vasu as the debutant director and it is most likely to be rolled from October 25. Tentatively, 'Lakshyam' is the title confirmed for the film, the sources from the film industry say. Gopichand's latest flick 'Raraju' is all set for release on October 20.
