'Gunde Jhallumandi' sees Uday Kiran and Aditi Sharma in the lead roles. But for four songs the rest of this film is done. Aditi has acted in the latest Bollywood blockbuster 'Black and White', as the heroine. Story writer-director Madan is directing this film. Paruchuri Siva Ram Prasad is producing the movie. This is the second for this director after his debut in 'Pellaina Kothalo'. The story of 'Gunde Jhallumandi' has a college setup as its background. So we can assume that this film will obviously have love as its theme. The heroine of this film was chosen for the role after a heroine hunt. Reports suggest that at least 25 candidates were scanned before Aditi Sharma was selected for the role. M.M. Keeravani has dealt with the music for 'Gunde Jhallumandi'. 'Gunde Jhallumandi' to can songs in Karnataka
The unit of 'Gunde Jhallumandi' directed by Madan of 'Pellaina Kothalo'-fame, presented by Paruchuri Kireeti and produced by Paruchuri Sivarama Prasad on the banner of United Movies with Udaykiran and Aditi Sharma in the lead is leaving for Karnataka next week to can two songs which remained balance for the movie. Producer says, 'Our director Madan and his team had visited Chikmagulur, Khudremukh, Narayankhed and other such places to select locations. All the areas were rich in greenery due to the recent rains. Songs would be choreographed in those places. Besides hero and heroine, over 40 dancers would involve in the canning of songs under the choreography of dance master Swarna. Keeravani gave melodious tunes to all the songs. There are a total of six songs and three bit songs in the film. We are making efforts to release the film in July'. Ajay, Ahuti Prasad, Venumadhav, Dharmavarapu Subrahmanyam, Jayaprakash Reddy, Srinivasa Reddy, Ajit Mohan, Nagabhairava, Nittala Sriramachandra Murthy, Jagan, Vidya, Rangadham, Master Rhythm, Harikrishna, Surekhavani, Madhumani and others are in the cast. Lyrics are by Chaitanya Prasad and Sivashakti Datta, camera is by Prabhakara Reddy J, art is by Nagendra Prasad, action is by Ganesh, while editing is by KV Krishna Reddy. Story, screenplay, dialogues and direction are by Madan.
'Gunde Jhallumandi' song shooting at Chikmungaluru
Uday Kiran stars as the hero of the film 'Gunde Jhallumandi' and Adithi Sharma has been paired with him under the direction of Madhan. The movie is made under the banner 'United Movies'. The movie's rerecording is in progress under the watchful eyes of Keeravani since the 7th of July. The producer of the film has announced that starting tomorrow, a song featuring the hero, heroine and a group of dancers, will be filmed at Chikmungaluru in the locales of an ancient Halibedu Temple which is located near beautiful waterfalls. Swarna Nruthya is the dance director for the song. The producer also added that the audio will be released soon. Lyrics have been penned by Chaitanya Prasad and camera work by Prabhakar Reddy.
'Gunde Jhallumandi' from 12th Sep
This Uday Kiran and Adithi Sharma in lead cast is produced by Parachuri Siva Ram Prasad and directed by Madan. M M Keeravani composed music for Uday Kiran for the first time. 'Gunde Jhallumandi' will be on show from 12th Sep. According to the director sweetness of love and greatness of friendship is told in an attractive way. The experience was like a pleasant journey opined the director.
Madan to direct 'Gunde Jhallumandi' with Uday Kiran
It is well aware that 'Pellaina Kothalo' the debut film directed by Madan was a big hit. Now this director had signed the dotted line for United Movies for a film to be produced by Paruchuri Sivaram Prasad, (who is presently doing a film with Nithin as 'Takkari'). According to sources, Udaykiran is playing the hero. Producer Sivaram Prasad says, 'Madan proved himself as a good director by bringing out a neat film called 'Pellaina Kothalo'. He was able to maintain good family drama all through the film. Udaykiran who made a comeback to Telugu is all set to win the hearts of the audiences with his films in his second innings. Hence we chose these two for our movie. We have confirmed the title of the film as 'Gunde Jhallumandi'. Works are going on the preparation of script and dialogues. Once we are ready with the script, we will go to sets. Most possibly we are going to launch the shooting by Vijayadasami. As of now we selected Surender Reddy as our cinematographer and we will soon announce the details of other artistes and crew.'
