Maintaining long hair is a real problem: SRK

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who has donned a new look in the sequel of his film "Don", says it is a real problem to maintain long hair and wonders how girls manage them so easily. "It's a real problem maintaining such strings of hairs attached. I haven't shaved for so many days. I have huge respect for women, but really want to ask them how they maintain their long hair," Shah Rukh told the media at the launch of documentary made on the 1960s epic film "Mughal E Azam" at the JW Marriot Hotel Thursday night. Shah Rukh said he was waiting for the shooting of director Farhan Akhtar's "Don 2" to wrap up so that he could get rid of the wig. "I wake up in the morning and have to set it. I can't take a proper bath. They had to be washed with care. I am really, really looking forward to the shooting of 'Don 2' to wrap up," he said. "My daughter tells me 'Papa I want to take you for a bath'. It's a huge problem. No sooner than the shooting of 'Don 2' finishes, I will take out this wig," the actor joked. SRK at his humorous best once again.

Growing Your Hair Doesn't Make You a Great Actor, says Naseer

'Aamir Khan is very hard-working, but he must understand that growing your hair and moustache for a film doesn't make you a great actor,' said Naseeruddin Shah in a television interview. In the same interview, Naseer said that the early phase of Shahrukh Khan resembled that of Rajesh Khanna, although he finds King Khan to be far more hard-working then the superstar Khanna. And how does he rate the badshah as an actor? 'I don't think Shahrukh is a great actor either.' Nobody doubts Naseeruddin Shah's prowess as an all time genius. The actor with a mind-boggling repertoire of stellar performances like 'Paar', 'Sparsh', 'Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron', 'Nishant', 'Albert Pinto Ko Gussa Kyun Aata Hai', 'Masoom', 'The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen', 'Maqbool' and the more recent 'Being Cyrus', nervously awaits the release of his debut directorial venture 'Yun Hota To Kya Hota'. A master theatre actor and director, Naseer has been associated with spellbinding story telling of Saadat Hasan Manto, Ismat Chughtai, Waiting For Godot and Shakespeare. He is finding the transition from directing on stage to films a bit difficult. The economics of filmmaking involves compromises as big money is at stake. So how much does he give himself as a director? 'Five out of ten,' he admits. Naseer saab, it is easy to pass judgments on big stars' acting abilities. But, maybe filmmaking is also about style and risk taking. Great acting can also be a relative term. After all, the public opinion is frivolous and changes every Friday.

When Boman faced some "hair-raising" problems in HTPL

hose who've seen the promos of Honeymoon Travels..., cannot miss Boman Irani's hilarious wig! The intention behind that wig was deliberate so as to make him look caricutarishly endearing! According to sources, Boman's wig was out of control for most of the shoot, especially because it was extremely windy at several locations. It seems on the days the six couples shot on the bus, there was no place for the actors to do their hair and make-up and Boman would have a tough time fixing his wig. It was none other than his co-star Shabana Azmi who came to his rescue in times of 'crisis' and fixed Boman's hair before director Reema Kagti got the camera rolling.... The film releases worldwide on February 23.

Aftab's fluctuating hair for Vikram Bhatt films

Vikram Bhatt and Aftab Shivdasani do share a unique bond. Not just are the two inseparable when it comes to working with each other and giving whole hearted support in their professional career, Aftab is also quite flexible when it comes to changing his look for the Bhatt films. Just recently the young actor had made a lot of news for his extra short haircut that he adopted for this year's released RED. He was much noticed for his new look and also saw an increase in his fan base due to the mature persona that he had adopted. Later in LIFE MEIN KABHI KABHIEE, he had to carry off an innocent personality and he pretty much succeeded there too with a boyish haircut. Now in Bhatt's next film SPEED he would be seen in an extra long hair as he dons a charming-n-dashing persona for his act as a main villain in the film. As a suave, well educated and intelligent baddie, he carries off his new look quite well and is bound to get noticed once again by all those who matter in the industry.
