As we said, Chiranjeevi is lending his voice to the animation film Hanuman in its Telugu version. Manmohan Challa is dubbing the hugely successful movie on the children's circuit to Telugu through Hyderabad Innovatives banner. Sharat Marar is presenting the film. Producer Manmohan Challa was excited about the fact that Chiranjeevi had given his voice to the movie. Giving details about how Chiru came into the project, Manmohan Challa pointed out the help of Sharad Marar and Allu Aravind in this regard. The producer, in a press meet, also said that Hanuman merchandize would simultaneously hit the market. Sharat Marar opined that Hanuman would be a big hit among children. Thanking Chirajeevi and heaping praise on his professionalism, Marar said Chiru's voice would do the trick for the movie. 'There will be instant connectivity and recognition from the fans'. Actor Uttej coordinated the dubbing. Several artistes from theater, TV had been used for dubbing, Hemanth is handling the post-production while G K Mohan is looking after the promotion and packaging.
Hanumanthu gave me satisfaction as artiste: Srihari
Srihari says he is happy as an artiste as he got compliments from several quarters for his film 'Hanumanthu' and it earned him good fame this year. At the same time, the film earned good name as a good producer for his wife Santha Kumari. Srihari says, 'I wish to play the roles of freedom fighters and my dream has come true with the role of 'Hanumanthayya' role I played in Hanumanthu. The subject was prepared with an inspiration from the life of Kanneganti Hanumanthu, a freedom fighter. I learnt that some people who stopped watching movies since long, had come to theatres to watch 'Hanumanthu'. It gave me immense satisfaction. Moreover, people started identifying me not as Srihari, but as Hanumanthayya. Such roles are very rare and getting an opportunity to play such roles would not come frequently. I earned name as an all-rounder as I played villain, comedy villain, character artiste and as hero. I don't mind to play any role with any hero if I happen to get a good role.' When asked why he himself turned a producer for 'Hanumanthu', Srihari says, 'Any producer invests money in a film to earn good returns. But an experimental subject like '?ÂÂ?Hanumanthu'?ÂÂ? needs a lot of courage as they may or not become a hit. In order to avoid causing embarrassment to some other producer, we did the film on our home production.'
Srihari paired with Manasa in "Hanumanthu"
Real Star Srihari is producing and acting in his next film titled 'Hanumanthu'. He is paired with Manasa and Pinky Sarkar, Madhu Sarma are other two heroines in the film. Chandra Mahesh is directing the film and music is scored by Vandemataram Srinivas. Shooting of the film is going on at Annapoorna Studios and during the press meet - Producer and Hero Srihari spoke at length about the film - "The main theme of the film is Win of Good over Bad and making such a good film is really a dream project for me. Chandra Mahesh direction, Srinivas's music and Vijaykumar's Photography are highlights of the film. The technical crew is going to be really an asset for this film. There are five songs in the film and picturization of 3 songs have already been completed. This film will prove to be a milestone in the careers of all the unit members. Myself, K.R. Vijaya, Vijaya Chandar, Pradeep Rawat are the powerful characters in the film along with one more character. It will be thrilling to know who it is going to be on the silver screen. Shooting of 75% of talkie is completed and audio will be released in April and the film will release in May." Director Chandra Mahesh said, "I feel very happy that I got an opportunity to direct such a good film." Senior Actress K.R. Vijaya said, "I am doing as Srihari's grandmother, which is an important role in the film." Vijaya Chandar is also playing an important role in the film and he said that it would be a challenge for him to play such a character. Find the missing link between Hrithik, Hanuman Returns and Telugu
Well, he hasn't learnt Telugu. But his voice-over for Hanuman Returns will be dubbed into various Indian languages, including Telugu. Hrithik has sung originally in English, but it will be dubbed into Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Bhojpuri and Kannada. This sequel to Hanuman is being made by Percept Films. Shailendra Singh informs us that Hrithik gave the nod to lend his voice as he had some time free time, now that he had wrapped up the shooting of Jodha-Akbar. Given the fact that Hrithik is quite popular with the kids post Dhoom 2 and Krish, the producers think he is the right choice to grab the attention of the young audience. The film is likely to be released on December 21, as a winter special.
Hanuman sequel at Diwali
After famous children's movies like Makdee and Hanuman, Percept Picture Company and Sahara One Motion Pictures have launched a sequel to animated Hanuman film and have planned a children's film for Diwali release called 16 Kids. The movie is an adventurous film to be directed by Jayanth Paranji who has made many Telugu films. 16 Kids will be shot on deserted beaches and lush forests, may be in Andaman and Nicobar Islands or Maldives.
