'Happy Days' for release on Sept. 21

The shooting of 'Happy Days' directed and produced by Sekhar Kammula on the banner of Amigos Creations was completed. Four boys and three girls are being introduced in the lead characters through the movie. All those who were graduated would remember their college days all through their life as memorable moments. The chivalry, friendships, love and acquaintances would remain forever in their memory. The director brought out a youthful film called 'Happy Days' based on these points. Mickey J Meyer scored music for the flick. The film was targeted to attract the youth in particular. 'Happy Days' team get over exposed

There is no denying that a star's success is determined by their popularity, some times it could be detrimental, especially if there is an over kill. Yesterday morning, the young team of 'Happy Days' was present at Big C in Punjagutta for an event. However, despite the presence of the most successful team of 2007, many felt that the team should now take a break and chill. There is no denying that they are indeed the most refreshing thing to have happened to the industry in a long time. They have portrayed a young and exuberant world that many can only dream of. Still, many scribes feel it would be really nice for them, if they went slow on their promotional activities and instead rejuvenated themselves for their forthcoming ventures. Familiarity does breed contempt and we only hope the lovely bunch have a long innings before they take the final bow!

'Happy Days' is now a comic, in Telugu and English

They are here, there, everywhere. Now, the latest development for the 'Happy Days' family is that their film will now be made into a comic book by Panel Animation Studio. The studio has just launched its animation branch and will henceforth publish comics under Panel Comix series. So, Shekhar Kammula's 'Happy Days' will be made into a series too. In fact, it will be the first. Since it revolves around the lives of eight college students and since college days make an interesting read, apparently, the company has decided to take the initiative and cash in on the film's popularity. The comics will be made in the popular Japanese 'Manga' style. Another highlight is that it will released in both Telugu and English languages. We hear one Mr Shekhar Kammula is smiling ear to ear.

Director confident on 'Happy Days'

Directed and produced by Sekhar Kammula on the banner of Amigos Creations, 'Happy Days' is introducing eight new faces to the Telugu film industry. Moreover, the film is being distributed across the State by young, dynamic and clever producer like Dil Raju. The rights of the Tamil version were bagged by versatile artiste and producer Prakash Raj. Anyone could easily declare that the film would be a definite hit, if the above two points are any indication. Besides all these, director cum producer Sekhar Kammula had also made another adventure. Unlike any other Telugu film, 'Happy Days' is being released in the US on September 28 and it would hit the screen in the State on October 2. This again proves that Sekhar Kammula had complete self-confidence on the film that it would be a definite hit. Otherwise, such decisions could not be taken in haste. Hats off to Sekhar Kammula. The preview of the film would be held exclusively for the benefit of journalists of websites at 6.30 pm in Hyderabad on September 27.
