When the soundtrack of BHOOL BHULAIYAA was conceptualized, even those associated with the film would have ever imagined the kind of rage the number 'Hare Krishna Hare Raam' would eventually become. Looking at the song's craze across the nation, T-Series, the producer of the film as well as the music label on which BHOOL BHULAIYAA arrives, has upped the promotion of the film and the soundtrack by incorporating Pritam's superhit track 'Hare Krishna...' everywhere in the film's promotion. Whether it is the song, talkie promos or theatrical promos, the Sameer written song rendered by Neeraj Sridhar is being churned in a big way. Such has been an escalation in the popularity of the number, especially in last 2 weeks, that it has enabled the album to reach the Top-3 of the music sales all over. In fact if not for the battle of supremacy between OM SHANTI OM and SAAWARIYA, BHOOL BHULAIYAA may have well aimed for the coveted #1 spot at the top of the charts.
'Hare Rama Hare Krishna' launched
It is well aware that Mega Movie Maker MS Raju planned a film with Maheshbabu as hero on the banner of Sumanth Arts in the direction of Trivikram Srinivas. The film's title was selected from the super hit song in Maheshbabu's blockbuster 'Okkadu' ' 'Hare Rama Hare Krishna'' which was the hero's introductory song in that film. The film was formally launched at Sumanth Arts' office in Hyderabad on March 14. Surprisingly, Paruchuri Brothers are scripting dialogues for the film. It is reliably learnt that the film is likely to go to sets after two months. For the first time, some other writers are providing dialogues for a film of Trivikram Srinivas. Devisri Prasad is likely to provide music for this movie.
'Hare Ram' getting ready for May release
Nandamuri Kalyanram, who failed to bag a hit by playing in films produced by others, launched his own banner called NTR Arts. Incidentally, 'Athanokkade', the debut film on the banner under the debut direction of Surender Reddy turned out to be a blockbuster. However, the break given by 'Athanokkade' failed to work in his favour, as his films in which he played later, again proved duds. In order to repeat history, Kalyanram decided to launch his next film on NTR Arts banner and he himself again played the lead with Priyamani as heroine for 'Hare Ram' under the direction of Harshavardhan @ Swarna Subba Rao. Let me remind that a project between 'Athanokkade' and 'Hare Ram', which was supposed to be done for Harikrishna was shelved for unspecific reason. Let us hope that Kalyanram's wish to get another blockbuster through NTR Arts would succeed.
'Hare Ram' audio release on June 28
Canning of a song remained balance for 'Hare Ram' directed by Harshavardhan and produced by Kalyanram on the banner of NTR Arts with Kalyanram playing the lead. Producer cum hero Kalyanram says, 'The film is on par with our earlier film 'Athanokkade' brought out on NTR Arts banner. The movie had all kinds of elements, with complete action backdrop, that could attract all classes of audiences. We are confident that this film would also enhance the image of our banner and its value. The balance song would be canned in the first week of July. Post-production works are simultaneously in progress We are making efforts to launch the audio on June 28 and release the film in July.' Priyamani is playing the heroine opposite Kalyanram, while Brahmanandam, Ali, Venumadhav, Nutan Prasad, Ashokkumar, Raghubabu, Rajiv Kanakala and others are in the cast. Music is by Mickey J Meyer, camera is by C Ramprasad, action is by Selva, Ram-Lakshman, art is by Vivek, editing is by Gauthamraju, while story, screenplay and direction are by Harshavardhan.
Kalyan Ram's 'Hare Ram' opens big
Kalyan Ram is living up to his reputation by winning loads of accolades from both audiences and critics for his latest film Hare Ram. Hare Ram is a psycho thriller and has opened very well reaping tremendous responses from the four corners of Andhra Pradesh, Krishna, Andhra west, Andhra East and Nizam. Here are a few figures of revenue collected by the flick in a week of screening. Krishna=20,05,847, West=16, 79,951, East=18, 78,969, Nizam = 1,34,52,930 summing up to 1,90,17,697. Ram plays double roles and has also produced the film. He has created quite a sensation by bringing prominent personalities of the Nandamuri family for the audio release function of Hare Ram.
Court Dismisses Notice of Motion against 'Hare Ram Hare Krishna' Song
'Bhool Bhulaiyaa' which has taken the nation by storm with its hit song 'Hare Ram Hare Krishna' has had to face its share of brickbats too!!! Eccha Foundation, an NGO, had filed a notice against the Producers T-Series for objectionable scenes depicting Lord Buddha in the hugely popular song. But the City Civil Court dismissed the notice of motion as the Producers have voluntarily deleted the said objectionable scenes from the song and secured the censor certificate. The producers have done so as they do not wish to hurt the religious sentiments of the people. The film, Bhool Bhulaiyaa has surprised one and all, with the majority expecting it to be a comedy caper. But this psychological-thriller has definitely astounded the public with it's surprise element. This T-Series film is Directed by Priyadarshan and Produced by Bhushan Kumar & Krishan Kumar and stars Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Shiney Ahuja, Ameesha Patel, Paresh Rawal & Rajpal Yadav.
