Now he would be heard again for the soundtrack of the film 'Aparichit', which is the dubbed version of 2005's mega hit 'Anniyan'. Apart from 'Anniyan', Harris has gained quite some popularity in the South for his numerous hit scores such as 12 B, Majunu, and most recently Ghajini.
Harris Jayaraj serenades for Ram Charan
Ram Charan Teja's upcoming film will have songs composed by Harris Jayaraj, a popular music director of the Tamil industry. The audio launch of the movie 'Surya s/o Krishnan' recently witnessed the official release of this news by Ram Charan Teja. On the dais Ram Charan said, "I am a great admirer of the songs orchestrated by Harris. The straight Telugu movies made in his tunes didn't attain recognition yet his songs made a mark in the top list. Director Bhaskar wanted Harris to croon for our next which was also a wish of mine. The songster has given his consent to do the music." Harris Jeyaraj present on the event was delighted and smiled cheerfully at the remarks made by Ram Charan. For his next movie, the actor poses a dashing look with his pony tail which is being directed by Rajamouli. A notable information is Harris Jeyaraj has earlier composed for the Venkatesh starrer, 'Gharshana' directed by Gautam Menon and now does for 'Surya s/o Krishnan' by Gautam again.
Harris Jayaraj is choosy
For Harris Jayaraj, quality matter the most than quantity. Asked why, the soft-spoken man, says, 'Music is my passion. I can sleep well every day only after I am convinced I have created good music. I choose films which suit my music taste and which will make my fans happy'. He says, 'For every film, the background score is as important as the songs I understood that background score is very important for a film and I began to concentrate more on it. My song bits and background score have even been released as a separate album'.

The happening music of Tamil cinema now, Harris Jayaraj is reportedly remixing the popular song Panivizhum Malarvanam, set to tunes by Ilayaraja in yesteryear classic Ninaivellam Nithya for Varanam Aayiram. The movie features Suriya and Genelia in the lead roles and is directed by Gowtham menon.
Harris Jayaraj moved to tears in reminiscence of Jeeva
Jeeva envisioned 'Dhaam Dhoom' and when he was in Russia scouting for locations, a particular spot appealed to him and as a result he wanted a song sequence involving 'Jayam' Ravi and Lakshmi Rai there. He had spoken to Harris Jayaraj in detail explaining the emotions involved. Everyone present there was enthralled with the man's passion to filmmaking. Days later, the song was taking shape and Jeeva was no more. The song titled 'Sagiye' has lyrics about memories and that was directed at the talented cinematographer and director. The whole crew felt the loss when they went over to the place Jeeva had finalized to film the song. The voices of Bombay Jayshree and Krish were just perfect too. Recounting this after 'Dhaam Dhoom' stormed theaters this week, Harris Jayaraj was moved to tears as memories of Jeeva flooded his mind. It can be recalled that all of Jeeva's films had Harris Jayaraj's music and all of the song have gone on to become chart busters. Jeeva had been quite responsible in the music director's career growth.
Harris Jayaraj On screen for the first time
Jeeva starrer ‘Ko’ directed by KV Anand is going to showcase many stars on screen. Adding to this list Music composer Harris Jayaraj is also seen in the film for the first time. Harris was very much uncomfortable in front of the camera.
