Hollywood blockbuster '300', which has registered record collections in its opening weekend in USA, is coming to India tomorrow. Before that, select audience in New Delhi would be able to watch the film today itself in an exclusive premier that is taking place at PVR Plaza. The event is expected to be graced by top celebrities of the city, Page 3 regulars and select invitees. A film based on Frank Miller's graphic novel, "300" concerns the 480 B.C. Battle of Thermopylae, where the King of Sparta led his army against the advancing Persians. The film stars Gerard Butler, Vincent Regan, Lena Headey and David Wenham.
Hollywood hires Hrithik!
All of us know that bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan is a lucky man and his luck is extended to one more step, Brad Bitts management has offered Hrithik to represent him in Hollywood. This is not the first time that Hrithik is approached from the west; many Hollywood firms gave this offer to the actor. He was also offered pink panther2 in the past. However this time Hrithik don't want to let go this opportunity. From US Hrithik's spoke person confirmed the news and said that presently actor is going through the screenplay sent to him by the managers in Hollywood. This will be Hrithik's debut project in Hollywood. Mr roshan is making sure that he will be doing only quality work. Let's wish the actor good luck for his Hollywood debut.
Hollywood casting agents for KAMBAKTH ISHQ
Sajid Nadiadwala has widened his horizons. His next venture Kambakth Ishq that stars Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor in the lead, now also boasts of an international star cast. It has been reported that Arnold Schwazzenegar and Beyonce will play vital roles in Kambaqt Ishq. Says a source "Akshay plays a Hollywood stuntman in the film. Hence the inclusion of Arnold. Our desi action hero will be seen with the international action icon. Beyonce too is reportedly doing a sizzling act in the film. Everything is almost finalized. Apparently they are also looking at other Hollywood names to join the cast of Kambakth Ishq." But here's the latest news! Sajid Nadiadwala has officially appointed the casting directors of Entourage, the big hit reality show in the US. Susan Paley Abramson and Justine Hempe are the casting agents for the Hollywood stars for Kambqat Ishq that is to be shot extensively in Los Angeles. Prashant Shah, line producer of Kambakth Ishq, based in Los Angeles said, "Yes its true we are signed the casting agents of Entourage as the casting agents for Hollywood stars for Kambakth Ishq. This move only goes to show that the Hindi film industry is increasingly getting globalized. Powerful producers like Sajid Nadiadwala now are confident that Hollywood stars are within their reach. Only Sajid can make this happen. He is the only producer in the industry with a clout equal to Yashraj." Adds Sajid Nadiadwala, "We have a certain vision for our production company NGE (Nadiadwala Grandsons Entertainment). Since Kambakth Ishq is based in Hollywood, it would make perfect sense to appoint partners, who would streamline the requirements as per the script. And we and our Line producer in Hollywood, have taken a call to appoint various agents for the various expertise they have to offer. As our Indian film industry is making its presence felt and going global, I would like my banner Nadiadwala Grandson to think on a bigger scale."

The Reliance Big Entertainment owned by Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group is the largest film producer in India and owns physical studios and facility companies. Chariman Anil.D.Ambani who is the 6th richest person in the world wants to join hands with the foreign film production players to extend its hold over the entertainment media in Hollywood too. The deals with the foreign players brought to the table with the advice and guidance of Creative Artists Agency (CAA) in U.S.A. enables Reliance to co- finance projects and the creative people behind the films will enjoy full creative freedom. Reliance Big Picture, the division of Reliance Big Entertainment will be focusing on media investments outside India through which the company aims for a creation of a virtual studio or new-generation media company and is part of Reliance Entertainment's long term strategy for media investments in Hollywood. This decision is also to continue the growth of the company as a fully integrated movie company with substantial holdings in production, distribution and exhibition. These deals with the production companies from other countries will automatically give reliance the rights of the film in India and the company also expects to attract suitable productions with appropriate incentives to India. So far, so good for the growth of the Indian film industry as a whole. Let the other bigwigs in the production business also follow this new way of collaboration and change once and for all the status and power of the cinema community in India.
Hollywood style production
New Light Productions, LTD is the new entrant in the Tamil film industry who produced Silanerangalil, whose audio was recently launched by Padmasri Kamal Haasan. Subsequently the New Light Production team sat with the director and scriptwriter and developed the complete script followed by a detailed storyboard true in style of Hollywood way of well planned film making. The New Light Production team started the production of Silanerangalil after selecting other key technicians and produced the movie successfully by shooting in beautiful locations of Munnar and Bangkok. The foot tapping music scored by Srikanth Deva is already a hit in FM and audio stores. New Light production have ambitious plans to produce 2 more Tamil movies after the release of Silanerangalil for which story is already finalized. Also they are in discussion with other production houses in forming strategic partnership in making commercially viable fine entertaining movies. With the advent of Pyramid Saimira, UTV, BIG Movies there is lot of future of this corporate style New Light production House to make more commercial movies.
Hollywood stars eye Indian cinema
Jackie Chan, who was part of the audio release of 'Dasavatharam' recently, expressed his desire to act in a Tamil movie alongside Kamal Haasan. While releasing the audio, Jackie Chan said, ' I would love to act in a Tamil movie very soon. Hope Kamal does the action and I do the romance'. Now joining the list is Will Smith who is on a high after the terrific opening of 'Hancock'. The acclaimed Hollywood actor, who had been part of several blockbusters, says, 'I am an ardent admirer of Indian culture. The reception for my movies in India has been phenomenal'. 'I would love to work in an Indian film soon. The people are friendly and have a lot of warmth. There is so much of creativity in India and I'd love to act in Indian movies'. Hope Indian producers and directors are listening to these greats and taking them seriously!
