The 'D' star who drove a sleek Toyota Crown Magesta 8-cylinder car a few months ago, now owns a customized Mahendra commando jeep. He believes it's better to modify an Indian car than to keep falling for foreign brands. "Our cars are one of the toughest in the world," says Randeep, and adds, "Don't forget that we Indians are the backbone of many a foreign company and have never lacked behind in any field." Randeep Hooda impresses with his horsemanship
'D' actor Randeep Hooda impressed one and all when he took the 'Risk' with some gravity-defying pace on his Army-bred horse at an Arena Polo match at the Mahalaxmi Race Course, this week. Organised by the Amateur Riders Club , the match was played at night under flood lights at the centre of the race track, creating history for being the first of its kind in Mumbai. Showing off his evolving skills with horses, Randeep rode with zest and confidence, vigourously competing with the other players Mitesh Mehta, Shyam Mehta, A.P.Singh, Brian Alexander , Rahul Dwarkadas, Nassir Jamal, Shariff Furniturewala, Shujoy Shetty, Charles Shepard, Rohan, Ajay Savala and Zahan Kapoor with the hour-long match finally ending in a tie. Ketan Mehta , the director of the actor's forthcoming film 'Rang Rasiya' specially dropped in along with wife Deepa Sahi to cheer Randeep. "I don't know much about Polo, but I could see Randeep rocked at the match," the director quipped, as the crowd in the gallery broke for exotic cocktails served on the sprawling race course lawns, braving the chilly weather. It can be mentioned here that the Hooda boy has been a riding enthusiast since quite some time and even owns four elegant-looking rough-and-tough horses. "While acting is Randeep's profession, horses have become his biggest passion," commented the actor's spokesperson Dale Bhagwagar. "But that's not to demean any lady on this or the other side of the earth," he quickly added.
Thoondil hooks its Audio release!
Having made a name for himself in Bollywood with few successful movies, director Adhiyaman is now back with 'Thoondil' that prides itself on the impressive star cast of Shaam, Sandhya and 'Kuthu' Ramya. The audio of the film is to get launched in different way in a famous satellite music channel on 18th of November, that hosts the launch with a one hour live show. The show is expected to be filled with hot live interations of the cast and crew of the film with the viewers. The film is shot extensively in London. 'Kuthu' Ramya sizzles up with a glamorous meaty role which is embellished with exciting twists and turns and makes for a great watch in the film. Vivek adds to the comical twist in the film. Randeep Hooda wraps up 'Do Lafzo Ki Kahani'
Actor Randeep Hooda says he has completed shooting for Deepak Tijori's directorial "Do Lafzon Ki Kahani". The "Highway" actor took to micro-blogging website Twitter, where he shared a photograph of himself with Tijori, his co-star Kajal Agarwal, and other members of the film's team. "It's a wrap for #DoLafzoKiKahani.. Looking back at the day the whole team got together gifts the first time," Randeep tweeted on Wednesday. On the big screen, Randeep was last seen in the 2014 film "Ungli", a comedy drama film directed by Rensil D'Silva. The 38-year-old actor has been roped in in Omung Kumar's "Sarabjit", a biopic on the late Indian death row prisoner in Pakistan. Randeep will be seen essaying the role of Sarabjit Singh, while actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be playing his sister Dalbir Kaur Singh. The movie will narrate the struggle of Dalbir Kaur, whose sole aim in life was to get her brother, who had been mistakenly taken to be an Indian spy, out of jail. "Sarabjit" will be shot starting October over one schedule of 70 days in Punjab.
Randeep Hooda is chilled out, says Pia Bajpai
Pia Bajpai, who is making her Bollywood debut with upcoming film “Yeh Laal Rang”, says she is “excited” about working with actor Randeep Hooda and calls him a "chilled out person" despite his experience. "I couldn’t have asked for a better debut. I'm very much excited. He’s a chilled out person and I know it will be a wholesome learning experience for me,” Pia, who has earlier worked in ad films, said in a statement. Set in the locales of Karnal, Haryana, “Yeh Laal Rang” has Randeep and Akshay Oberoi playing the protagonists. Directed by Syed Ahmad Afzal, the film deals with the blood mafia and rides completely on its content. Pia, who hails from Etawah, is “keen to do a content driven film". “I had seen Afzal’s debut film 'Youngistaan' and I'm sure that he is capable of making a good film. I auditioned for the role and fortunately it landed in my kitty,” she said. Talking about her role in the film, Pia said: “I'm playing a girl from Saharanpur. My character is very innocent yet strong in its own way. You will see me in a non-glamorous avatar without any make-up.” Asked if there is any particular actor or filmmaker she is keen to work with, Pia added: “I'm very much greedy. I want to work with everyone. Plus, I would look at the entire package - a good script, a good filmmaker and of course the content. I would go for a good team rather than a particular name.” “Yeh Laal Rang” is currently in production. Randeep, who turned 39 on Thursday, celebrated his birthday along with his grandmother on the set.
Randeep Hooda releases motion poster of 'Main Aur Charles'
Actor Randeep Hooda on Wednesday shared the motion poster of his forthcoming film “Main aur Charles”, which will release on October 30. The film is loosely based on true events, told from the perspective of former Indian Police Service officer Amod Kanth, who handled the case of notorious serial killer Charles Sobhraj. Randeep tweeted: "Presenting the motion poster of "Main Aur Charles" releasing 30th October 2015 http://bit.ly/MainAurCharlesMotionPoster." A Prawaal Raman directorial, the film features actors Richa Chadha, Adil Hussain and Tisca Chopra in lead roles.
