U, Me, Aur Hum: An ode to love

Ajay Devgan & his beautiful wife Kajol are all set to entertain us once again. And this time it is going to be a love story. This real life couple is all set to entertain us in reel life too yet again! But Mr. Devgan do you think your timing on making this movie is right? 'People keep asking me how I decided that this was the right time to direct my own film. To be honest, I don't really know if this is the right time or not, but I know that this is a story I wanted to tell. A story I believed in. And felt strongly about. As they say, one from the heart.' But there are so many other genres that you could make a story from, is there a particular reason for choosing this one? 'I can list many reasons, but the most important, and the primary reason for me to want to make this film, is its positivity. I've noticed that people these days have become more cynical and less optimistic than before. They tend to naturally have a negative outlook about things. Especially with regards to love, relationships, feelings, marriage. My question is - where has all our romance gone? Why this obsession with rationale? Why do we hesitate to accept that it is possible, that deep within, one soul makes a connection with another ' instinctively, impulsively, immediately?' Do you believe in the love? Love at first sight. Happy marriages. Soulmates. These are concepts I believe in. I know that they exist. And as a result, they are important elements of my film. What is it that you want to tell through 'U, Me Aur Hum' This film is not made with the intention of being a sermon about relationships. Nor is it made to prove my talent as a director. And it is definitely not my intention to change the way people think or live their lives. A film is meant to entertain you. To give you your money's worth. To give you a good time, at least as long as it lasts. And that is what I have set out to do. I hope I succeed. And in addition to entertaining you, if it makes you just spare a thought about the state of your relationship, or encourage you to make an improvement in it, then my success will be so much greater. With all the ingredients for a successful movie right in place lets us see if 'U, Me aur Hum' will hit the right chord among the audience.

Hum Rajpal Yadav Bol Rahe Hain

He is a powerhouse of talent. And the moment he bursts on to the screen, the public expect him to be the mainstay of a movie. That's called: The Rajpal Yadav effect. The diminutive actor from Shahjahanpur has come a long way from winning the Filmfare Best Actor in a Negative role in 'Jungle'. After making his presence felt in the super hit 'Phir Hera Pheri' and being one of the main reasons for watching 'Chup Chup Ke', Rajpal is eagerly looking forward to two solo films 'Ladies Tailor' and 'Hum Lallan Bol Rahe Hain'. In 'Ladies Tailor' he shall be seen having designs on the tempting Kim Sharma while 'Hum Lalla Bol Rahe Hain' is in news because it is being produced by Nazim Rizvi. Yes, the same Nazim Rizvi who had produced Salman Khan's 'Chori Chori Chupke Chupke' and had been booked for having links with underworld don Chota Shakeel. Rizvi is out on bail and is busy giving interviews about his innocence and why he is making small films as compared to the biggie that he got caught with. It goes without saying that Rajpal is looking smashing from the stills of 'HLBRH' that are so far available in the media. Rajpal's earlier stint with solo leads in 'Main Madhuri Dixit Banna Chahti Hoon' and 'Main Meri Patni Aur Woh' were highly appreciated. Both were labeled as flop films although Rajpal's performance was highly appreciated. While good actors like Arshad Warsi say it openly that it is not wise for them to do expect their solo films to be viable at the Box Office, Rajpal Yadav is still going ahead with the risk. It goes without saying that people in the interiors of the country love him and considering the low costs of his films, there's a good chance of him succeeding.

After HUM TUM, animation reaches next level in TRRP

Remember the adorable characters HUM and TUM in Saif Ali Khan-Rani Mukherjee starrer HUM TUM? The two worked perfectly fine in taking the narrative of the movie forward. Now Yash Raj Films' next offering TA RA RUM PUM has taken a cue from their own successful formula and gone a level up by incorporating an entire track featuring animated characters. Well, this not all as this time around the track also intersperses entire TRRP family comprising of Saif Ali Khan, Rani Mukherjee and their two lovely kids! An out and out animated number that is as flawless as it can get, whether it is Hollywood or Bollywood, the title song 'Ta Ra Rum Pum' features a bear family of 4 that dances along and makes merry with the TRRP family. Watch out for it and you would surely be smiling along all the way!

U,Me Aur Hum gives Rakesh Roshan hiccups

Ajay Devgan's directorial debut U,Me Aur Hum has already been creating the required buzz. The movie will see Ajay Devgan and wife Kajol come together after Raju Chacha. The expectations from this film have been running high right from the nascent stage. The film which is set to release in April has given other films releasing in the very same month jitters. The dates of Devgan's venture will see a clash with Rakesh Roshan's Krazzy 4. It has been reported that Rakesh Roshan has been in talks with Ajay, requesting him to push forward the film by a week or so. Roshan wants to stick to April 11 and wants his film to be the solo release during that week. However, Devgan too has been insisting an April 11 release. Devgan states that he has a strategy in place that would prove vital for the promotion of the film. Thus, postponing the film would create a complete mess. Now, it's quite surprising that Rakesh Roshan fears Devgan's directorial debut even after backing the film up with a good star cast and item numbers by Hrithik and Shahrukh. Great going Ajay!

Neeru Bajwa pairs up with Atif for 'Hum Kis Galli'

Neeru Bajwa, a popular face on television and the leading actress of superhit Punjabi film 'Dil Apna Punjabi', is currently being seen in the latest music video of Atif Aslam's non-film album 'Doorie'. Directed by Rajat Chawla, the music video has been shot on the exotic locales of Mauritius. Titled 'Ham Kis Galli Ja Rahe Hain', the song has music by Sachin Gupta with lyrics by Sameer. Music video is based on the 'Dance Mix version' by DJ Freak that has all in it to keep the party hoppers busy. A track sung prominently at a high pitch, 'Hum Kis Galli' is about a man who is on a journey towards an unknown destination and doesn't quite know where he would end up except for the fact that there is a hope for him to find light at the end of the tunnel.
