More news →'Hyper' shoot on in Vizag
Ram's Hyper is currently being shot in Vizag. With the completion of this schedule by the 20th of this month, the film will have been done with the entire talkie part. This action-cum-family entertainer is planned by 14 Reels Entertainment for a grand September 30 release. As for the songs, they will be shot by September 9. The audio (music by Ghibran) will be out in the second week of that month. "The title and first look have got a terrific response", the makers say. Featuring Ram as an all-smiles youngster playing with his goggles in style, the first look introduced the film as a youthful entertainer and more. True to the power-packed title, they are going for the tagline - 'Prathi intlo okaduntadu', meaning that there is one 'hyper case' in every home. Santosh Srinivas has described the film as a hyper action entertainer that matches Ram's intense energy levels. Raashi Khanna is playing the female lead. Sathya Raj is playing Ram's father. Rao Ramesh, Murali Sharma, Posani, Prabhas Sreenu, and others are part of the cast. Cinematography is by Sameer Reddy. Art direction is by Avinash Kolla. Editing is by Gautham Raju. Dialogues are by Abburi Ravi.
Hyper gets a release date
Energetic hero Ram is right now busy in shooting for Hyper movie. It is a youth oriented movie with elements of love and entertainment in equal doses. While Santosh Srinivas is directing the movie Anil Sunkara, Ram Achanta, Gopichand Achanta are producing it on 14 Reels Entertainments banner. Hyper movie makers have been announcing from the start itself that it will be releasing during Dasara festival season. Now they have confirmed the release date. Hyper movie will be released on September 30. “Hyper is a youthful flick and is apt for Ram’s body language. Santosh Srinivas has taken care to present Ram in an energetic role and audience will easily get connected with the role. We are planning for a grand release,” said producer Anil Sunkara. Rashi Khanna is acting as heroine opposite Ram. Sathyaraj, Murali Sharma, Posani, among others are acting in supporting roles. While Ghibran is composing music Sameer Reddy is the cinematographer. Abburi Ravi is the dialogue writer. Hyper is coming up with the tagline ‘Prathi intlo okaduntadu’. Already the first look has got good response and movie makers are expressing confidence Hyper will have a super run at box office.
Hyper releasing in 92 screens in USA CANADA premiers on 29th Sept
'Hyper' is going to have a big release across the globe on 30th September and Cineparadiso, leading South Indian film distribution company in USA, is going to release the film in 92 location in USA & CANADA. The premiers will be on 29th. Ram is going to be seen in a hyper energetic role in this movie and his chemistry with Satyaraj, who is playing his father will be excellent. The film is high on sentiment, comedy and action. Veteran Mani Sharma is composing background score for this movie and it will be another highlight. Hyper has fun, social message: Ram
Nani was right when he said Ram gives his heroines a run for their money when it comes to looking handsome. Two days before the release of 'Hyper' on Sept 30, the soft-spoken, affable actor takes questions calmly and answers jovially. Read on.. The title has been well-received, especially because it suits your image. Your comments. Contrary to what I apprehended, 'Hyper' is organic to the film. It's not just about me. 'Prathi intlo okaduntadu' says it all. Is it also related to the director and the producers? Considering the way Vasu (as the director is fondly called by industry-wallahs) works at such a 'hyper' pace, 'Hyper' should suit him more. I think the title best describes him. (Smiles) Didn't Santosh Srinivas' flop bother you? Everybody has hits and flops. They are commonplace. Vasu has gained experience by scoring a hit and a flop. He has become matured with time. How was it doing a film under this banner? 14 Reels' producers are so passionate about cinema. 'Hyper' couldn't have been completed this fast but for their planning. They look very calm-going, but they are really 'hyper' types. If you ask me to compare my home banner to 14 Reels, I would say the former is home food and the latter is outside food that is as good as home food. At the audio launch, you said that Raashi Khanna's fans are like sleeper cells who are going to become active when she gets the right film. What is her character like in the movie? She is playing a character with two different shades. Her character was conceived to add entertainment quotient in a film with other equations involving me and Sathyaraj garu, and me and other characters (played by Rao Ramesh and Murali Sharma, in the main). 'Hyper' is not a love story. Why do you say the film has a social message? 'Hyper' is not just about father-son sentiment. It has a social message delivered through Sathyaraj garu's character. Messaging doesn't suit my image and age. As for his characterization, he is different from what we have seen in 'Mirchi', 'Baahubali' and 'Nenu Sailaja'. The treatment comes with a touch of hilarity. How have the technical departments fared? Very well. By the way, background music is by Mani Sharma, the King of RR. Ghibran couldn't make it as he was in another country where an earthquake upset his schedule. How are you like with your father in real life? I am like the rest of you. I don't fear him, though. Fear was never a part of my upbringing. This is your second release this year. Luckily. 'Pandaga Chesko' was planned to be released in 2014 itself, but it got unduly delayed. Sometimes, things are not in our control. It was a conscious decision to speed up. Have you committed yourself to any project? I am waiting for 'Hyper' to release. I may have a film in Kishore Tirumala's direction after he works with Venkatesh garu. Discussions are ongoing. As for the film with Anil Ravipudi (where the male lead's character is a blind man), nothing is finalized as yet. We are yet to brainstorm about execution feasibility and all.
Hyper Price for Ram
The satellite rights of Ram-Raashi Khanna's Hyper have been sold for a fancy price. If sources are to be believed, the film's TV rights were sold for over 6.3 Crore to an entertainment channel. The deal is locked as the film is all set for grand release on Sep 30. It's touted to be highest-ever price for the TV Rights of Ram's film in his career. After going through a lean phase, production house has bounced back with their last offing Krishna Gaadi Veera Prema Gaadha. With satellite being sold for record price and the buzz for the film too good, producers Gopi, Ram and Anil are laughing all the way to the bank. Billed to be a family drama, Ram will be seen showcasing his hyper love on his father Sathyaraj. Given that the film too have a holiday advantage, let's wait and see how the film would fare at the ticket windows. Also, Ram's last film Nenu Sailaja did well at BO.
Hyper First time in Tollywood!
In what the makers have called a first-of-its-kind novelty in Tollywood, a making video has been brought out on Virtual Reality! It's a 360 degree view that you can have. The making video is that of 'Hypare..' number from Ram-starrer 'Hyper'.Released on the official social media page of 14 Reels Entertainment, the video is admittedly dedicated to all the crew members of the Telugu film industry. "It's they who always stay in the background and give us some amazing movies," the production house has said in a tribute-like statement.Meanwhile, after making a tour of many theatres in Nizam, the team are "extremely happy" with the response.
