Once again the super hit combination of Ravi Teja and Puri Jagannath are coming together for Idiot 2. The movie will start its regular shooting from March 15th, 2012 in Bangkok. Ileana D'Cruz playing female lead in the movie. Earlier she paired with the Ravi Teja in Khatarnak and Kick. BVSN Prasad producing the movie on Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra banner.This would be the sequel to the Idiot movie, which came in the year 2002 starring Ravi Teja and Rakshitha and directed by Puri Jagannath.
I Cannot do 3 idiots: Ram Charan
Mega power star Ram Charan Teja made a strange confession during the audio launch of ‘Snehitudu’, the dubbed version of Nanban (Tamil remake of Bollywood blockbuster 3 idiots). Ram Charan Tej was one of the star attractions for the Snehitudu audio launch, which was held yesterday (Jan 19) at Shilpa Kala Vedika, Hyderabad. Speaking on the occasion, Ram Charan said, “Director Rajkumar Hirani screened 3 idiots for me much before it was made in Hindi. But I thought someone of Aamir Khan’s calibre can do this film rather me since these are my early days in the industry.” The actor wished the team good luck for the entire team and signed off. Now isn’t that an honest confession?
'Idiot' to start rolling by June
'Idiot' the film that has Aamir Khan playing the lead role is all set to role out towards the month of June. This film will be directed by Rakjkumar Hirani. The hunt for finding the heroine for this film is on. 'Idiot' comes under the genre of comedy that also has a social message for the society. Meanwhile, Reliance Entertainment has penned a deal with Vidhu Vinod Chopra, the producer. Reports also indicate that the film 'Idiot' is a part of the deal. The chairman Reliance Entertainment is believed to have said that the producer is in the process of lining up the films which will be finalized in a few days time. Chopra is also having a string of films that he will be funding which includes the Big B starrer 'Talisman' that will see Ram Madhvani in the director's chair. Reliance Entertainment had also penned a deal with Excel Entertainment of Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar sometime back. 'Rock on' their first film is already underway that has Farhan Aktar, Arjun Rampal and the soap queen Prachi Desai essaying lead roles. This will be Prachi Desai's first break in Bollywood.
'Three Idiots' begins the journey
Another clean comedy filled movie to be enjoyed by the whole family is on its way. No other description can be better suited for a film being made by Rajkumar Hirani. The movie is 'Three Idiots' which has none other than Aamir Khan, Madhavan, Sharman Joshi, Kareena Kapoor and Boman Irani doing the main roles. With this wonderful star cast, the film produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra is going to corner a huge chunk of media space in the coming days. Shantanu Moitra is the music composer, Abhijat Joshi along with the director has written the screenplay and the lyrics are by Swanand Kirkire. Aamir, Madhavan and Sharman Joshi had ganged up before and proved to share a great chemistry in the blockbuster 'Rang De Basanti'. Right now only the portions which do not need the lead actors are being shot. The leading cast members will start shooting their parts in September and as of now the shooting is being planned to get over by December. The main shooting locations are Mumbai, Bangalore, Delhi and Ladakh.
3 Idiots started their Journey on August 26
The first shooting schedule of Vinod Chopra Films next mega venture '3 IDIOTS' was commenced on 26th August 2008 in Mumbai. The first scene started with a bang in an aircraft with R. Madhavan. The next schedule of a 20-day will be held at Ladakh wherein lead pair Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor will participate. '3 Idiots' is the next edition from the maverick director of hit Munnabhai Series Rajkumar Hirani and toplines Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor, for the first time together. The film also features R. Madhavan, Sharman Joshi and Boman Irani in pivotal roles. Director Rajkumar Hirani who is quite thrilled with the project says, 'We are literally off to a flying start :-) It was amazing to shoot inside a real aircraft. We are really excited and raring to go." '3 Idiots' is being produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, and written by Rajkumar Hirani and Abhijat Joshi. The lyrics are by Swanand Kirkire and music is being composed by Shantanu Moitra.
3 idiots delay release of Ghajini
One such Lollapaloozas of perfectionism: Obviously, it's Aamir Khan who doesn't get convinced at an ease. Glimpse through his previous flicks; longer schedules of filming to get them perfectly spelled and Taare Zameen Par would be a precise illustration. Amole Gupta conceptualized the scintillating theme for the film and was assigned to direct. Catching view of canned shots for the first schedule, Aamir called off for Amole and started wielding megaphone by himself. Well, his plans didn't dash down hopes and perhaps has won him laurels across far-flung corners of the globe. Well, after a special screening of Ghajini, Aamir had glimpsed certain aspects were to be corrected and insisted Director A.R. Murugadoss to reshoot them. Earlier, plans were to release the film for the occasion of Diwali while this rigid decision of Aamir may result in delayed release of Tamil remake with the same title. Murugadoss has planned to reshoot few scenes with accordance to Aamir's tastes. Nevertheless, it may take some time, since Aamir Khan is busy now shooting for 3 idiots with Kareena Kapoor. Buzzes are that it would take a month time for Aamir to get back for re-shooting.
