Theaters in Telugu states gearing up with the release of four Telugu films today [June 19]. Sudheer Babu's Krishnamma Kalipindi Iddarini and Vinavayya Ramayya are the noted films, joining them are Bandhook and Tippu. KKI marks the second time pairing of Prema Katha Chitram stars Sudheer Babu and Nanditha Raj. Krishnamma Kalipindi Iddarini is the official remake of Kannada romantic drama 'Charminar' directed by its original director R Chandru in Telugu too. Sridhar Lagadapati has produced the movie on Ramalakshmi Cine Creations banner. Naga Anvesh, Krithika, who played children roles in Victory Venkatesh starred 'Intlo Illalu Vantintlo Priyuralu' and 'Drushyam', respectively made their debut as lead actors with Vinavayya Ramayya. Produced by Krishna Reddy, Vinavayya Ramayya is directed by G Ram Prasad. Music by Anoop Rubens. Satya Karthik and Kanika Kapoor starring Tippu is the other Telugu movie hitting screens this Friday along with action entertainer Bandhook. Jagadeesh Daneti directed Tippu enjoys Mani Sharma music. Hindi: ABCD 2, English: Entourage, Spy also releasing in noted screens in the city today.
EVV to direct a film for Raasi Movies
EVV Satyanarayana worked as an assistant director with Jandhyala. Later, he turned a director through 'Prema Khaidi' and brought out several excellent films like, 'Aame, Kanyadanam, Okato Tareeku, Chaala Bagundi, Thaali' and others. His films like 'Jambalakidi Pamba, Aa Okkati Adakku, Appula Appa Rao, Hello Brother, Varasudu, Intlo Illalu-Vantintlo Priyuralu, Maavidakulu' were super hits and became one of the top directors of the Telugu film industry. Later he started his own banner called EVV Cinema and brought out several good films in his own direction. Especially, his latest film 'Kitakitalu' on his banner in his own direction was a very big hit and proved that EVV could achieve a big hit at any time. Presently, he is making a film 'Attili Sattibabu LKG'. He is planning to release the film on April 6 as he was very confident on its success, though the industry fears that the examination season and World Cup cricket could be a hindrance. EVV had reportedly signed the dotted line for a film to be made on the banner of Raasi Movies. It may be mentioned her that the combination of EVV and Raasi Movies had produced a hit film like 'Abbayigaru'. This project would go to sets n May.
'Bhale Kurradu' completes shooting
The shooting of 'Bhale Kurradu' directed by S Rajendraprasad Reddy and produced by Suresh Obili on the banner of Likhita Movie Creations with Arjun in the lead was completed and dubbing is in progress now. Producer Suresh Obili says, 'This is a good love story. We are introducing Arjun as hero in Telugu through this film. Arjun played as a child artiste in 'Pachani Samsaram', 'Illalu-Priyuralu', 'Swayamkrushi', 'Srivaru' and 'Bhale Tammudu' and is well known among the Telugu audiences. He got a good training in dances, fights and also in acting and performed extremely well. We are sure that our hero Arjun would become busy after the success of this film. Presently dubbing work is in progress.' Director Rajendra Prasad says, 'This is a youthful and triangle love story that runs with family backdrop. The love scenes involving Arjun, Naaz, and Seema Setti have come out extremely well. The film has a good comedy also. All the songs and action scenes would attract the audiences.' Arjun says, 'The Telugu audiences gave me a good cooperation as a child artiste. I played in several films in the combination of senior artistes like Krishna, Sobhanbabu, Balakrishna and Chiranjeevi as a child artiste. I am making my debut as hero through 'Bhale Kurradu'. I am playing a different role as a rough lover in this film. The story is attractive to mass, youth and families.' Executive producer Y. Obulesu says, 'The dubbing activities would be completed by the end of November. We are planning to release audio during the end of this month. We are sure that the film would be a good musical hit.' Presenter of the film BV Lakshmi says, 'This film that comes in the backdrop of family, would attract people of all ages. A part of the film will run in village and the remaining in urban locales. Songs would be a highlight in this film. Music is by Sureshkumar, camera is by Surendra, editing is by ML Sivaprakash, action is by Ram Shetty (Mumbai), 'Kaurava' Venkatesh and Julie, while dialogues, lyrics and direction are by S Rajendraprasad Reddy.
EVV to direct Venkatesh
After giving a super hit film like 'Lakshmi', Venkatesh is now busy with films like 'Aadavari Matalaku Ardhaley Veruley' and 'Tulasi'. Presently director EVV Satyanarayana, who gave several successful comedy films, including the very recent 'Kitakitalu', is planning a film with his elder son Aryan Rajesh in the lead. But according to latest information, EVV Satyanarayana reportedly prepared a good subject for Venkatesh and the latter also gave his nod immediately. Both of them had decided to start the film immediately. Earlier, films like 'Abbayigaru' and 'Intlo Illalu Vantintlo Priyuralu' which have under this combination proved big hit and created a big sensation. A noted producer has come forward to do this film
