The ultra colorful, romantic comedy ‘Trisha Illana Nayanthara’ directed by Adhik Ravichandran deals with a youth who is caught between two young girls and the roles are played with youthful exuberance by G V Prakash Kumar, Manisha Yadav and Kayal Ananthi respectively as evidenced in the trailers. ‘Trisha Illana Nayanthara’ which also has Simran in a pivotal role with Arya and Priya Anand in cameos is releasing on the 21st of August.

Famed music composer and actor G.V.Prakash’s ‘Trisha Illana Nayanthara’ is heading for a grand release on September 17 Vinayagar Chathurthi weekend. The film is expected to get a good share of theatres for a one film old hero like G.V.Prakash as it is being distributed by Studio Green of K.E.Gnanavelraja., G.V.Prakash whose is busy with a number of acting and music assignments in hand has confirmed that he has signed two more exciting projects for the Studio Green banner for acting and music. He has however maintained secrecy over the details of the two projects.
Priya Anand's special cameo in 'Trisha Illana Nayantara'
Actress Priya Anand, known for her work in "English Vinglish" and "Arima Nambi", has been roped in for a special cameo in the upcoming Tamil romantic-comedy "Trisha Illana Nayantara". "We were actually looking for a beautiful and versatile artist to play this role. Our unanimous choice was Priya Anand, and she had brought gallons of energy into our vibrant unit," the film's director Adhik Ravichandran told. The film stars composer-turned-actor GV Prakash Kumar, Manisha Yadav and Anandhi in lead roles. Veteran actress Simran Bagga will be seen essaying an important role. Ravichandran also said that Priya will not be grooving to an item number, but will feature in a few crucial scenes in the movie.
36 takes for a lip-lock scene in 'Trisha Illana Nayanthara'
It took 36 takes for actor-composer G.V. Prakash Kumar and co-star Manisha Yadav to film a lip-lock scene from the upcoming Tamil romantic-comedy "Trisha Illana Nayanthara". "Prakash was initially hesitant about the lip-lock scene. He wasn't comfortable with the idea. However, Manisha didn't have any qualms about it and instantly gave her a nod when she was narrated the scene. It took Prakash some motivation, but he eventually gave in," a source from the film's unit told. It took 36 takes because the scene was shot from different angles. "The director wanted to capture the scene from the most appropriate angle in order to not make it look dirty. Hence, it took so many takes to lock the shot," the source said. Directed by debutant Adhik Ravichandran, the film features Anandhi as one of the leading ladies, while veteran actor Simran Bagga has essayed a cameo. Prakash's other films as actor includes "Ketta Payada Indha Karthi" and "Basha Engira Anthony". He has also signed a yet-untitled film with "Darling" director Sam Anton, and this project will be produced by Studio Green.
