Star director,' Indrajith Lankesh seems to be getting ready for a new film assignment. The indication comes from the way he is grooming himself. He got himself a teeth scaling procedure done and even posed showing off his bright new ivory. He enlisted his childhood friend Srinidhi for the procedure. However, the story is not about Indrajith's teeth, it is about his new film. Sources say that he has already planned his new venture. It will not be in Kannada but in Hindi. It will be his costliest film and the announcement will be made in August. As of now, Indrajith has kept everything a secret and wants to make a grand announcement of the planned movie, say sources.
Indrajith to direct Yash
After 'Dev S/O Muddegowda', director Indrajith Lankesh is all set to be back with a new romantic comedy. This time Indrajith will be directing Yash in his forthcoming film produced by K Manju. Indrajith Lankesh has been talking of making a comeback for quite sometime. Now Indrajith himself has said that he will be directing a film soon and will be making an official statement soon. The film will be a romantic comedy and will star a popular star in lead role. Though Indrajith Lankesh does not disclose whom is he directing this time, sources say it it Yash who will be acting in Indrajith Lankesh's film and K Manju will be producing the film.
'Indhra' completes second schedule
Super Good Combines Kannada film produced jointly by Suresh Chaudhari and Kuppuswami 'Indhra' starring Darshan and Namitha in the lead has completed second schedule of shooting in Mysore. The magnanimity of the hero in his colony, action scenes were shot at the ancient colony Ramanuja Road where 70 row houses looking identical was a boon for the situations of the film. The colony for this film that was apt was given the look of Iyengar colony by the art director. 14 days shoot was held here by director H.Vasu. Krishnakumar is the cameraman. K.Prashanth has written the story and B.A.Madhu is the dialogue writer. Harikrishna scored five lilting tunes for this film. Darshan is playing the double role for the first time in this film. Avinash, Ramesh Bhat, Mandip Rai, Bullet Prakash, Chinne Gowda are in the supporting roles.
'Indrani' busy with digital work!
With this film completing its shooting & post-production work, 'Indrani' is now moving on to the next phase which is the DTS phase. This film sees Sanghavi as the heroine and has been directed by M.A.Chowdary. Gudipati Nageswara Rao is producing this film under the Prasanna Lakshmi Pictures banner. Gorantla Krishna's music will lilt through the entire length of this film and the dialogues for this film have been supplied by Tyagaraju. Krishna Bhaghawan, Sudhakar, Rami Reddy, Satyam Rajesh, Costume Krishna and Gundu Hanumantha Rao form the other important characters of this film. G. Madhukar is the executive producer of 'Indrani' and this flick will be presented by Baby Vinya. 'Indrajit' completes shooting
Shooting of 'Indrajit' directed by Guna Nagendraprasad and produced by VR Prasad on the banner of Goodwill Creations with Saikumar, Sangeeta in the lead, Master Indra (Sai) in the title role and Ramyakrishna in another important role, was almost completed recently. Speaking on the occasion, producer says, 'The film runs with patriotism in its backdrop. Especially, our film would give a fitting reply to the recent terrorist activities and bomb blasts that rocked the country recently. Saikumar is playing the role of an Army officer. Basically, I am a real estate businessman and I brought out this film to promote my son Master Indra as a hero.' Director says, 'But for a little patch work, shooting was almost complete. We will soon launch the audio.' Saikumar says, 'I am playing a nice character in this film and surely the film would attract all classes of audiences. There are several inspiring scenes between me and the child hero. Ramyakrishna played the role of a teacher. So far, I played in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam language films and very soon I am going to act in a Bollywood film too.' Sangeeta says, 'After a long time, I am playing a good role in this film.' Prithvi of 'Khadgam'-fame played the villain in this flick. Bhanuchander, Prasadbabu, Suttivelu, Ranganath, Jeeva, Annapurna, Ragini, Rajitha, Baby Trisha, Master Charan, Abhinav, Sachit, Harish, Vijay, Munna, Vinod, Surya, Rajendra and others are in the cast. Camera is by Anji, editing is by Nandamuri Hari, music is by Kumar, story and lyrics are by 'Indra' Prasad, dialogues are by Vemagiri, action is by Satish, while screenplay and direction are by Guna Nagendra Prasad.
Indrajith with two biggies
Indrajith is planning to open up in Kollywood with two big roles, that seems to be much promising. The Malayalam actor has bagged two big Tamil films - 'Kanthaswamy' directed by Susie Ganesan and 'Sarvam' by Vishnu Vardhan (of Billa fame). 'Kanthaswamy' will feature him as the main villain opposite Vikram.The story of the movie is kept close guarded, but according to the disclosed brief, Indrajith will feature himself in one of the best villainous roles in his life time. In 'Sarvam', he is one among the four lead characters, others played Arya, Trisha and Chakravarthy. Indrajith will complete his shoot for 'Sarvam' by the end of June, before he stars his shoot for 'Kanthaswamy'. Indrajith is also sharing the lead in Kamal's new Malayalam film, 'Minnaminnik Koottam, which will be a July release.
