Speculations working overtime in Kollywood tinsel town that Hansika is being considered for an important role in STR's Idhu Namma Aalu with Nayantara as his female lead. National Award winner Pandiraj is directing Simbu-Nayan's film that is tentaively titled as 'Idhu Namma Aalu'. Speaking about the film director said, “No, Hansika is not doing a role in the movie. We have completed half of Idhu Namma Aalu and took a small break.” “Once shooting resumes we will be shooting two songs that were already composed by Simbu's brother Kuralarasan”, he added. Simbu Cine Arts producing STR-Nayantara's Idhu Namma Aalu has cinematography by Balasubramaniem.
Not doing special song in 'Idhu Namma Aalu': Shruti Haasan
Actress Shruti Haasan has clarified that she won't groove to any special song in upcoming Tamil romantic-drama "Idhu Namma Aalu", contrary to some reports. "Shruti was approached and has sung a song last year for the film 'Idhu Namma Aalu'. She will however not feature in the song. She has not even been approached to do a special song nor would she consider doing it," Shruti's spokesperson said in a statement. The film, which is directed by Pandiraj, features Simbu and Nayanthara in the lead roles. In Tamil, Shruti currently has Suriya's "S3" in her kitty.
