The trailer of Ranbir Kapoor's Jagga Jasoos is out, which is highly impressive. Ranbir plays a detective in this film, who goes in search of his father. He meets Katrina during this travel, who joins him in this mission. The trailer is creatively cut, with sounds playing a significant role throughout. The background music by Pritam is unique and enjoyable, with ample sound effects supporting it. Ravi Varman's visuals give an international Disney film feel, and co-incidentally, the film is released by Walt Disney Studios. Ranbir's antics are quirky and funny, which are sure to go well with the audience. His expressions emote a lot, without speaking many dialogues. The last train portion in the trailer is something to watch out for. It looks like a live action drama mixed with some decent animation. The much talked about Ranbir - Katrina's Ostrich ride is also shown in the trailer. This Anurag Basu directorial is all set to hit the screens on April 7th, 2017.

Shooting for 'Bobby Jasoos' complete
Actress-producer Dia Mirza's "Bobby Jasoos" has completed all its principal shooting as per schedule. The film was shot over 51 days in a non-stop schedule across a host of different locations in Hyderabad. The unit ended the shooting on a melodic high with the filming of a song, said a statement. The film has been produced under Dia's as well as businessman Sahil Sangha's banner Born Free Entertainment and stars Vidya Balan in the lead role. "The shoot is complete! Now we will carry the same energy into completing the film and presenting it to the audience," said Sahil. "Bobby Jasoos" is now in post-production and will release in the summer of 2014.
Team 'Jagga Jasoos' showering their love for food
It seems like team 'Jagga Jasoos' is having feast on set without their heroine. The director of the movie Anurag Basu took to his Twitter handle to share two snaps where he, along with Ranbir Kapoor and other team members, are seen having table full of food before them. " 'There is no love sincerer than the love of food'- George Bernard Shaw," he wrote along with a photo. 'Jagga Jasoos,' which tells the story of a teenage detective in search of his missing father, stars Katrina Kaif and Adah Sharma in lead along with Ranbir. The movie will also mark second collaboration of the 'Gangster' director and the 'Bombay Velvet' actor after 'Barfi.' The movie is slated to release around August this year.
Disney signs Ranbir Kapoor for 'Jagga Jasoos'
Ranbir Kapoor has been signed by Disney for "Jagga Jasoos" franchise and the film's shooting will commence in September next year. Franchise "Jagga Jasoos" will be co-produced by Picture Shuru -- Ranbir and Anurag Basu's new production company. As the shooting is scheduled for next year, till then Anurag, Ranbir and UTV will work together on developing the script for the first and the second part, as well as work on pre-production work for the film that film, said a statement. "Jagga Jasoos" will be a full-on Disney franchise and the long term plan would be to take it into multiple sequels, merchandising, consumer products, graphic comics, television, gaming and much more. The team of Ranbir, Basu and UTV were behind last year's successful film "Barfi". It is rumoured that all four -- Ranbir, Basu, Ronnie Screwvala and Siddharth Roy Kapur -- met last week and shook hands on making this happen with the intention of it being the very first frnachise of its kind ever attempted in the country.
Vidya visits Mahim dargah before 'Bobby Jasoos' release
Actress Vidya Balan, currently busy promoting her forthcoming film "Bobby Jasoos", visited the Mahim dargah here to seek blessings. The film has been majorly shot in Hyderabad, where Vidya had a scene inside the dargha. Vidya was keen on visiting Mahim dargah. So, she took out time Thursday and went there, said a statement. She was clad in "Bobby Jasoos" avatar with her detective bag too. The detective comedy revolves around a female character. While Vidya plays the female lead, Ali Fazal plays the male lead. The film is directed by Samar Shaikh and is co-produced by actress Dia Mirza and her beau Sahil Sangha. The film will hit theatres July 4.
