Jeevan in Jeevan

Kaakha Kaakha fame Jeevan is eagerly awaiting the release of Thirruttu Payalae. Directed by Susi Ganesan, it features Sonia Agarwal opposite him. Meanwhile Jeevan has accepted to be part of a short-film being churned out by director Naveen. As it happens, it is titled Jeevan. Naveen had earlier directed a short-film titled Arumbu, which was screened at various film fests. Jeevan is a short-film about romance and Jeevan would certainly do justice to his role, says Naveen.

Jeevan is chuffed

The success of Thiruttu Payalae has brought great joy to Jeevan. Now shooting for Thotta directed by Selvah, he says, 'any actor has to choose his films with caution to survive in this highly competitive industry.' 'After Khaakha Khaakha, I was flooded with offers to play the role of a baddie. However, I decided to wait. It (three-year wait) ended with Thiruttu Payalae. I believe in being patient and it has paid off. When Susi Ganesan narrated the story to me, I was confident that it would be successful. Due credit should be given to Susi Ganesan, the cast and crew, who toiled to make a quality movie. Jeevan says, 'I am in no rush to sign films. I accept films which has good script and storyline. I would love to do challenging roles'. 'My next release would be Thotta being directed by Selvah. The movie would be completed soon'.

Jeevan to star with five heroines

Jeevan will share the screen with five popular heroines in Kollywood for his next movie. The villain-cum-hero in Tamil cinema, who shot to fame with the role of a baddie in Kaakha Kaakha, is playing the lead role in the remake of yesteryear classic Naan Avanillai. The movie would be produced by noted film distributor Japak. He has reportedly acquired the remake rights of the yesteryear classic featuring Gemini Ganesan in the lead role. The new version will have Jeevan in the role of Gemini Ganesan. It is an extension of the role played by Jeevan in his Thiruttu Payalae. He plays a womanizer. The original version starred five actresses in it. In the remake, five prominent actresses have been cast including Sneha and Namitha. The third is Malavika, who acted with Jeevan in Thiruttu Payale. The fourth and fifth are Jothirmayi who was introduced in Thalainagaram, and Kirti Chawla.

A long wait ended with Jeevan doing the remake of yesteryear K Balachandar's classic Naan Avanillai. He plays the role enacted by Gemini Ganesan in the movie. Also Jeevan is playing the hero in Machakaran. The movie would be directed Thamizhvanan, who wielded the megaphone for S J Suryah's Kalvanin Kadhali. Also Jeevan's Thotta directed by Selvah is nearing completion. Jeevan is hopeful of greater fortunes this new year.
