Hrishita resurfaces with Jigyasa

The curiosity surrounding Jigyasa finally came to an end yesterday. The film premiered at Cinemax cinema Andheri yesterday. Most of the cast of the film was present at the venue. The film revolves around a north Indian small town girl who comes to Mumbai with an aspiration to become a superstar. The story is woven around a couple of characters that resemble some real life personalities. For instance the character Aruna Kapoor is a character that resembles TV queen Ekta Kapoor. The story is about the real hardships a girl has to go through when she aspires to become a film star. The film has Hrishita Bhatt in the lead. She has been missing in action for a long time. This is her first release in the last 6 months or so. The entire team hopes the film becomes a box office success. Faisal Saif has directed the film. This is his first Hindi commercial film, though he has made an English film of a small budget before this. The other cast includes Varsha Usgaokar, Milind Gunaji, Rakesh Bedi, Kader Khan, Naseer Abdullah and some new faces too.
