John rubbishes rumours about stage show with JLo
By Subhash K. Jha, Mumbai: Actor John Abraham, who is shooting non-stop for Ravi Chopra's "Babul" and Nikhil Advani's "Salaam-E-Ishq", rubbishes rumours about teaming up with Latin singer Jennifer Lopez for a stage show. "Where do these mediapersons get such information from? I don't know her. I have never met her," John told us. The Latin singer is going to perform in Mumbai April 23. But John says he has been pretty much on the edge, shooting features and advertisements, attending events and going to shows. "I have just been running around and around. It seems I have been working round-the-clock," he added. The giddy limit was last week when John shot back-to-back for two major films. "It was 'Babul' all day, and then 'Salaam-E-Ishq' in the night," says the "Dhoom" dude. "It couldn't be helped. 'Babul' is delayed. So it has to be squeezed into my schedule." With Amitabh Bachchan back on the scene to complete his critical pending work on "Babul", the rest of the cast is quickly doing some re-shuffling in their date diary. "Everyone wants to cooperate and get the film completed on time. The director Ravi Chopra is such a lovely man. And we are all so happy and relieved to resume shooting with Bachchan," said John.
