'Payana' means journey. It is the love journey of famous comedian in small screen Ravishanker and beautiful actress Ramanithu Chaudhary in the film 'Payana' taken up by director Kiran Govi for producer Venkatesh. Ramanithu Chaudhary who appeared in films like 'Pallakki' and 'Beladingalagi Baa' plays an NRI girl meet the dream boy hailing from middle class family in this film. The middle class youth in the film 'Payana' played by Ravishanker (shot in to fame from famous television serial 'Silli Lalli' in the role of Dr.Vittala Rao) has been waiting for a long time to play a full length role on big screen. He has appeared in 25 television serials in his 10 years career in small screen. I have not heard a story like this says Ravishanker who is the long time friend of 'Payana' director Kiran Govi. Ravishanker plays a cab driver in 'Payana' and it is my dream role he says. How much a middle class youth can dream about is the concept of my film says director Kiran Govi. The shooting will be held in 60 days at Bangalore, Gaganachukki falls, Talkad, Himadh Gopalaswamy hills, Bayalakuppe surroundings. Harikrishna is scoring music for seven songs in this romantic love story film. Producer C.Venkatesh is independently producing this film banking on the caliber of Kiran Govi. A journey from a father-in-law to a lover

Trust Big B to be playing central protagonist in film after film even as he tries to underplay the fact by stating that he is mainly filling in for supporting roles. Come December 8 and he would be playing the title role in Ravi Chopra's social 'Babul'. As he plays his age, he is bound to touch the hearts of millions with his doting father and then a father-in-law act. Well, he does play his age again in a film a few weeks down the line too but as an altogether different character...that of a 60 year old man who comes in close proximity with a 18 year old [Jiah Khan]. How sparks fly between them and love develops forms the crux of this Ram Gopal Verma. Since the film's subject is quite unusual, even the tagline of the film proclaims - 'Some Love Stories Are Never Meant To Be Understood'. While traversing this journey from a father-in-law to a lover, there is also a probability of two of Big B's other films coming in, namely 'Zamaanat' and 'Eklavya - The Royal Guard'. Needless to say, Bachchan is in central role in these 2 films too!

Prasannas journey

It has been a fascinating journey for the young hero who debuted in Susi Ganesan's '5 Star', a few years ago. After acting as a hero in nine films till the recently released 'Sadhu Miranda', he has donned the role of a villain in Mysskin's 'Anjathey', which is released today. We have seen many villain actors turning heroes but very rarely do we come across heroes turning villains. While we have seen some heroes like veteran Jai Shankar and young Abbas doing the same, it should be noted that they did not do such an experiment during their prime time as heroes. Prasanna has taken a risk in his tenth film. The reason behind the unbelievable experiment is the challenge the role offers, says Prasanna. 'Anjathey' has offered him the best roles he has handled so far. 'I don't think I could forget the role even after ten years', he says. Prasanna says it is not his cup of tea to look into the camera and deliver punch dialogues. He likes to do realistic roles and wants to be known for his performances in the roles. Here is wishing him best in his career.
