Romeo Juliet and Innimey Ippadithaan are the two awaited Tamil movies slated for June 12th release. Advance bookings of these Friday releases are happening in full swing, given the craze of their lead stars Jayam Ravi, Hansika and Santhanam. Romeo Juliet and Innimey Ippadithaan are touted to be out and out rom-coms that marks the second time combo of Ravi-Hansika and Santhanam-Ashna Zaveri, after Engeyum Kadhal, Vallavanukku Pullum Aayudham, respectively. Directed by Muruganand of Lollu Sabha fame, Santhanam himself produced Innimey Ippadithaan on his Handmade Films banner, Udhayanidhi's Red Giant Movies is distributing it. S Nanthagopal's Madras Entertainments presents, Ravi's Romeo Juliet is written and directed by Lakshman. D Imman is the music director. Vamsi Krishna, Poonam Bajwa are also part of the movie. Ravi-Hansika's Romeo Juliet is releasing worldwide in 350+ screens with 150 mins running time, while Innimey Ippadithaan is locked to 134 mins running time and has its share of best theaters. Bigg Boss Julie deserves an Oscar! This actress thinks so..
Juliana's drama in the recent episode of the Tamil version of Bigg Boss reality show has turned out to be the topic which the social media is currently fuming about. Earlier in the show Juliana suffered extreme pain in her stomach and few housemates came to her rescue. But Gayathri has instigated an altercation by saying that it was a gimmick to get votes. When Juliana has broken down into tears in her bed, it was Oviya who stood by her side and supported her. But later Juliana gone to the side of Gayathri and accused Oviya of confusing her to spark a verbal war. This shocked the fans of the TV show, and the social media is already full of memes supporting Oviya and trolling Juliana. Now actress Aishwarya Rajesh has tweeted that she thinks Juliana deserves an Oscar. Also she has commented her behaviour as worst.
Kangana as Juliet
Hollywood is looking at India for actors these days. With the entertainment industry in India forging ahead our actors have gained recognition the world over. The latest to join this list is Kangana Ranaut. Well this fair lady has been offered to play one of the most loved romantic characters in English, Juliet. US-based film agency Ambassador Pictures has approached her with this international project. If all goes well we can soon see Kangana play Juliet in a present day version of Romeo & Juliet. We are sure who will play the part of Romeo though. If reports coming in are to be believed then Kangana has bagged an offer from international movie makers and the film will be called 'Between the Night and Moon'. Though the actress is not believed to have signed the dotted line when she does the film will be shot in Kashmir and Florida. It is reported that this film will be directed by the Italian director Gilda Pianelli. Kangana is now busy shooting for Madhur Bhandarkar's 'Fashion' which deals with the dark side of the fashion world. Great going girlie!
Mohanbabu in 'Romeo Juliet'
Manchu Vishnu is playing a hero under the direction of K Vijayabhaskar for a film to be produced by M Mohanbabu with Smt M Nirmala as presenter on the banner of Sri Lakshmi Prasanna Pictures. 'Romeo-Juliet' is the title confirmed for the movie, while, 'Thodudongalu' was the tagline. The film is coming out from the banner as Production No. 48. It is learnt that Mohanbabu is also playing a key role in the movie. The film which is expected to roll on from the end of may would have a total comedy touch. Director K Vijayabhaskar says, 'The film would remain a milestone in Vishnu's career after 'Dhee'. Hero Vishnu says, 'I am very happy to work with a senior director like Vijayabhaskar and at the same time, I am more happy as I could pair up with my father again in this film.'
Tarun-Ileana are 'Romeo Juliet'
No, we are not talking of the Shakespearean drama here. This is the title that has been confirmed for K Vijayabhaskar's film with Tarun and Ileana. The film is under production right now and is expected to be a summer release. According to the Tollywood grapevine, it is a remake of Bunty aur Babli.
