Akshay Kumar & Katrina Kaif have scooped the cream among the glut of reality tv shows - the super-hit Namastey London duo will be the mega attractions on the mega final of Sony TV's hugely popular dance show, Jhalak Dikhla Ja, to promote their highly anticipated comedy, Welcome, releasing on Thursday, December 20. The mega final of JDJ is being telecast on Saturday, 15th December. Katrina will make her entry first and be joined by Akshay who will appear after her and felicitate the winner at the end. Considering Welcome is the biggest Christmas release for families, a Santa Claus is likely to accompany Akshay. The latter will dance to the title track of Welcome, though much of what he will be doing on the show is being held back as a big surprise!
Joshi starts 'Jaala'
Yet another television serial maker Naganath Joshi has made a leap in to big screen from 'Jaala'. The film by GS Joshis Cine Creations went on the floor at Banashankeri temple situated on Magadi Road. Popular film PRO Sudheendra Venkatesh sounded the clap board for the maiden shot. Naganath Joshi is in the television field and earned good experience working in the camp of TN Seetharam. He has written the story, screenplay for the film besides directing it. This film is set in the deep Malnad forest. The love that blossoms in the forest take different turns. There is a vicious net the lovers face says Joshi. Krishna is the cameraman and Madan Mohan is the music director. Sanjay, Deepu, Srinivas, Dinesh Naik, Padmini, Spoorthi, Narnitha, Ragavendra Joshi, Pranavmurthy, Marimuthu are in the cast.
