Kaajal turning busy

Kaajal was introduced to the Telugu film industry through 'Lakshmi Kalyanam' directed by Teja, presented by Mahendra and produced by Jitendra, opposite Kalyanram. There was a very good response and compliments from both the industry as well as the audiences for her good performance. After her debut appearance, Kaajal continued to get offers continuously from the Telugu film producers. She is playing heroine opposite Arjun in 'Kalidasu' which is being produced as a bilingual film which is going to be released simultaneously soon. Popular director Bharatiraja is directing that movie. She had also signed the dotted line for a role opposite Ramesh, son of RB Choudary of Super Good Films, playing heroine in 'Chandamama' being directed by Krishnavamsi, in 'Ishtam' to be directed by Rajkumar, playing opposite Sumanth on the banner of Annapurna Pictures being produced by Akkineni Nagarjuna. Good going Kaajal. Keep it up.

I learnt acting from Teja, admits Kaajal

Directed by Teja, presented by K Mahendra and produced by K Chandrasekhar (Jeetu) on the banner of Gita Art Pictures, 'Lakshmi Kalyanam' with Kalyanram, Suhasini and Kaajal in the lead, is all set for release on February 15. Heroine Kaajal, who made her debut with this film says, 'I am very happy for acting with Nandamuri Kalyanram. He cooperated with me very well. Each scene, he used to explain me and taught me how to act. All the songs in the film came out extraordinarily as they were tuned by RP Patnaik. I live this album and the music in it. When it comes to my character, I am doing the role of a village belle. I think in one way, but the fate takes me the other way. But how my career took a twist in the film is the subject of the film. When it comes to Teja, he is a moving encyclopaedia. I believe, he like an institute and I learnt acting from him. I strongly believe that Teja did a very good job in completing the project successfully.'

Kajal looking forward to Cinema

Kajal Agarwal was in town yesterday for the audio launch of Pourudu. She was wearing a beige and black tartan dress and looked really cool. Must say, our Tollywood girls are becoming quite couture conscious these days. Kajal Agarwal has acted in a tri-lingual film called Cinema which has been directed by none other than Bharatiraja. The film will be called Bommalatam in Tamil and Kaalidasa in Telugu. It has Nana Patekar and Arjun in the lead. Though Kajal started shooting for the first time for it, the film hasn't been released yet. However, it is scheduled for release soon. Naturally, Kajal is really excited about it as she got to share screen space with Arjun and Nana Patekar in it. She gushes she was treated like a baby on the sets and well pampered by both the stars.

Kajal does some salsa

If you thought it was just the kids and the tweens who go salsa dancing, then here's some dope from tinsel ville. Kajal Agarwal who is one happy girl says she has joined salsa classes for some fun. When she is not shooting in south, then Kajal lives in Mumbai and she says that is one way of meeting people of her age and doing something exciting. After all, wouldn't we want to see her moves some day? But that's not all. Kajal is also working on her language skills and trying to learn speaking Telugu. Mind you, she already understands the language and it's only a matter of time before she speaks it, she says.

Kajal, Nitin romance for 'Aatadista'

C Kalyan and S Vijayanand, who made the hit film Chandamama, are currently producing 'Aatadista'. The film has young pair Nitin and Kajal Agarwal in the lead. Like most films these days, this too is a love story. The film is being directed by Ravikumar Choudhary, who had made earlier made 'Veerabhadra' with Balakrishna. From the looks of it, the film seems to have good doses of action and romance.

Kajal's debut film 'Kalidas' set for release

Kajal Agarwal's debut film was Bharati Raja's tri-lingual film 'Kalidas'. However, other films happened first and 'Kalidas' is finally wrapping up for release at the earliest date possible. It has Kajal Agarwal playing an actress and Nana Patekar playing a director whose film runs into trouble. Then, there is Arjun who plays the cop who is chasing Nana Patekar. It seems the film is a thriller and from what we hear, it is sure to set a new trend in Indian cinema, in terms of story telling.
