More news →'Do Knot Disturb'& 'Kal Kissney Dekha' starts rolling
The shooting of the films 'Kal Kissney Dekha' and 'Do Knot Disturb' have started. Both the films are part of a five film production deal between Relinace Big Entertainment and producer Vashu Bhagnani's production company Puja Films. The financial, marketing and distribution rights of all the films will be with the Big Pictures. 'Do Knot Disturb' brings back one of the most successful director/actor pair of Bollywood after a year. The film is directed by David Dhawan and Govinda is the leading man. The shooting has commenced in Delhi, where a huge set in a farmhouse has been erected for the purpose. The unit will shift the location in the first week of July to Mumbai. A lot of typical extremely hilarious David Dhawan style of humour that now has a great following among the film lovers will be in the offering in this film. Ritesh Deshmukh who by now has earned a name for himself as a highly natural funny bone tickling specialist giving company to Govinda in 'Do Knot Disturb' have helped this film to become an awaited one now itself. Lara Dutta gets back with Davind Dhawan after the stupendous success of 'Partner' in 2007. Sushmita Sen is the other former beauty queen who is the second leading lady of the film. The music is composed by Nadeem Sharavan and is arranged by Viju Shah. The second film 'Kal Kissney Dekha' started the shooting in Johannesburg, South Africa last week. The unit will also be also shooting in Durban and Capetown during the 45 day schedule in South Africa. Vashu Bhagnani's son Jacky Bhagnani makes his Bollywood debut as a leading man with this romantic love story with the elements of thrill and action also inter-woven into the story. The film is directed by Vivek Sharma who was the man responsible for calling the shots in the film 'Bhootnath'. The other main actors of the film are Rishi Kapoor, Archana Puran Singh and Vaishali Desai. Sajid-Wajid gives the music for 'Kal Kisne Dekha'. Both the films which have started the shooting are being planned for a mid 2009 release. Commenting on the two films, President of Reliance Big Entertainment, Rajesh Sawhney said that the company is delighted at the commencement of two films under the deal, which he believes will be two of the most eagerly awaited films of 2009 and the work on the strategic marketing and distribution plans for the two films to be available to the widest audience possible has already been started. Vashu Bhagnani said that his company is extremely happy to partner with Reliance BIG which will bring about a synergy of the creative and production expertise of Puja Films with the vast business knowledge and experience of Reliance.
After BHOOTHNATH Vivek-Juhi return with KAL KISNE DEKHA
Film Director Vivek Sharma, who had earlier directed Bhoothnath, celebrated his birthday on the sets of his next film 'Kal Kisne Dekha' being shot at Raghuleela Mall in Vashi here on 27th August, 2008. The film stars debutante actors but also has cameos from renowned actors of Bollywood and one such role is also being portrayed by Juhi Chawla. Juhi made a surprise visit on the sets to shoot for a cameo in the film and Vivek just seemed obliged as he had requested her for this role at the time of Bhoothnath. Vivek accepted that it was the finest Birthday gift that he has had till date. 'I am very moved by Juhi's such a lovely gesture. I was thinking of a Bollywood star to do a cameo in my next film Kal Kisne Dekha. I asked Juhi and she agreed to it immediately. I had told Juhi at the time of Bhootnath that I would want her to work in all my films. See here we are then. It was the best Birthday gift.' Quips Vivek. Juhi Chawla has worked with Vivek Sharma before in Bhootnath which also starred Shahrukh Khan and the Big B, Mr. Amitabh Bachchan. It is his mere excellence only that Vivek got to work with legendary actors in terms of direction. Vivek is busy shooting his next venture 'Kal Kisne Dekha' which casts newcomers but also buzz is that this film has cameos from few of the finest actors from Bollywood and these names are being slated to big pretty Big. Actor Rishi Kapoor was also present on the sets of 'Kal Kisne Dekha' to wish Vivek his Birthday. Meeting him, Juhi seemed quiet thrilled. Sajid-Wajid compose for Vivek 'Bhoothnath' Sharma's KAL KISNE DEKHA
Sajid-Wajid have delivered multiple hit films like Partner, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Tere Naam, and Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya. With their 10 year association continuing to go strong, the duo celebrated the birthday of Wajid on 7 October, which was witnessed by Director Vivek Sharma and Producer Vashu Bhagnani at Studio One Mumbai. On this occasion Vivek Sharma presented Wajid an offer to sing a very special Sufi song, 'Tere bina..' in his upcoming film Kal Kisne Dekha. On this evening Wajid's mother was also present for the first time in the studio when he sang the song. Wajid has taken the mantle of being the singing voice of Salman Khan, but this time he has accepted the gift by Vashu Bhagnani and Vivek Sharma. And after singing exclusively for a superstar like Salman Khan, he is giving his voice to a debutante. KAL KISNE DEKHA will mark the debut of Vashu's son Jacky. Jacky has also given vocals for this song. Wajid was overwhelmed on his birthday and tells us about this special gift, 'It was a pleasant surprise for me. The song was special to me and therefore when they asked me to sing it, it made it all the more special. All the more as it happened to be my birthday. Oru Kal Oru Kannadi Story Reveals
Oru Kal Oru Kannadi sees Udhayanidhi Stalin as Saravanan and Hansika as his love interest Meera. The film has Santhanam playing a comic role as Parthasarathy. Director Rajesh M explaining about the characters in the movie says, “Saravanan is the ticketing incharge in a theater and Santhanam works in the canteen of the same theater.” He further added, “How these three meet and how love blossoms between the lead pair forms the crux of OKOK.” Rajesh said, “Udhay and Hansika chemistry was good on screens and Santhanam’s comedy sequences went good.” The director, who has Santhanam in all his films concluded, “I can make movie without a heroine, but can’t film it without Santhanam.
Saif’s Love Aaj Kal remake confirmed by Pawan Kalyan
It is already intimated to our viewers that Pawan Kalyan has signed a new film with producer, Ganesh and Jayant C Paranji will direct this film. The latest news is that the film will be launched formally on Mar 29th at HICC in Hyderabad. Pawan Kalyan is said to be impressed with the bollywood film, ‘Love Aaj Kal’ Jayanth who has proposed ‘Uyyalavada Narasimha Reddy’ with Balakrishna in lead role had put aside the project tentatively. Industry is at buzz that Jayanth is trying to rope in Deepika Padukone in the film, who was the female lead in the original version too. Let’s wait and see if Deepika agrees to this big venture!
