The movie starring Vikram and Shriya is produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu. Susi Ganesan says, 'Kandhasamy will be an action-packed entertainer. Vikram would be at his best in the movie.' To select the costumes for the lead pair, the director had been to Bangkok recently. He further denied rumors doing rounds in the media that it was a hilarious entertainer. Kandhasamy would be a treat for action-lovers. But at the same time, it would have comedy, romance and sentiments too, he added.
Hi-tech invite for Kandhasamy
After Thiruttu Payalae's bumper-hit, director Susi Ganesan joins hands with Chiyan Vikram for Kandhasamy. The Kollywood is now going gaga over reports on Kandhasamy's hi-tech invitation. Sources say it is being prepared in China. The invitation comes with a short trailer of the movie featuring Shriya and Vikram, one of the costliest inviations indeed.

Kalaipuli S Dhanu is coming out with a grand invitation to announce the launch of his movie Kandhasamy. The invitations are being prepared in China. They come with a short trailer of the movie featuring Shriya and Vikram, who are playing the lead roles. Directed by Susi Ganesan, the movie features Vikram in a sleek look. In one of the scene, Vikram appears as a young girl. With the help of computer graphics, the director and Vikram tried several makeups before settling for a young girl look. Plans are on to shoot the movie abroad.

A grand photo session featuring Vikram and Shriya was shot recently. Susi Ganesan says, 'Kandasamy will have a stylish look. It would sport a sophisticated look that would appeal to all sections of the audience'. To select the costumes for the lead pair, the director had been to Bangkok recently. Susi Ganesan played a cameo in his directorial venture Thiruttu Payale. Asked whether he would try to repeat the same in Kandasamy, he says, 'No. I will not. I am more comfortable behind the camera. It is no easy job to act, which I understood working in Thiruttu Payalae'.

The latest buzz doing rounds in the industry is about a grand launch for Vikram starrer Kandasamy planned by producer Kalaipuli S Thanu and director Susi Ganesan. Sources say the movie would be launched Monday (September 17), at Devi theatre in which the who's who of Tamil and Telugu film industry would take part. Also the Kollywood is going gaga over costly invitation card printed for the occasion. It is said that each invitations costs over Rs 10,000 with a mini LCD player attached with the invite showing the trailer of Kandasamy. Shriya and Vikram come together for the first time with Devi Sri Prasad scoring the music. Vikram has reduced over 15 kilos and looks young and refreshing.
