A few days back we had mentioned about Sanjay Dutt's ONIB becoming AKH! For starters, ONIB that stands for 'One Night In Bangkok' was the earlier title of Raj Kaushal's action/comedy/thriller that has Arshad Warsi pairing with Sanju baba. The film was later titled AKH i.e. 'Anthony Kaun Hai'. The film has been a quickly in the making and is now getting ready for release. Starring Minissha Lamba and Anousha Dandekar as leading heroines and Raghuveer Yadav and Gulshan Grover in the supporting cast, AKH has Himesh Reshammiya as the music composer. The first look of the film has made quite a splash as it features suited booted Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi standing tall [and short respectively] while wearing designer shades and red ties. With polished black shoes to match and a gun with a silencer in tow, Sanju looks deadly as ever! But guess what the real fun part of the film is? Its title that is as simple [and innovative] as it gets. It is A? (i.e. A for 'Anthony' and question mark for 'Kaun Hai'!) The punch lines of the film are interesting too as they go as: TWO MEN, A HITMAN AND A CONMAN. THE QUESTION BETWEEN THEM IS.....A? TWO MEN, AN ASSASSIN AND HIS VICTIM. THE QUESTION BETWEEN THEM IS....A? Hai na kamaal?!!
Sanjay Dutt in 'Anthony Kaun Hai'
Sanjay Dutt is known for his friendship in the industry. His producer friend Nikhil Panchamiya is all praise for Sanjay. Sanjay Dutt who is currently having court hearings finished shooting of 'Anthony Kaun Hai' in one-shift schedule in Thailand. The story revolves around one person who is an assassin and other who is a victim. It also stars Arshad Warsi and is directed by Raj Kaushal.
Jazzy B arrives with a single - 'Kaun Nach Di'
Concept of singles is still to catch up in India. Though Euphoria has tried it once while Karan Johar too kick started the campaign of K3G with the title song as the first single to arrive on stands, the trend is still trying to find its way into the Indian music market. On these grounds, Jazzy B has tried to do something different with 'Kaun Nach Di', a single which is the only track in the album. To compensate for the lack of any other track, there are as many as 5 different versions of 'Kaun Nach Di' for his fans to pick and choose from. Written by Pinda Dhaliwal and composed by Ravi Bal, the five versions of 'Kaun Nach Di' are 'Urbanology Mix', 'Streetology Mix', 'Sada Desi Mix', 'Sada Kar Mix' and 'Jazzy Bounce Mix'.
I will do more films post 'Kaun Kitney Paani Mein': Kunal Kapoor
Actor Kunal Kapoor, who is returning on the big screen after a gap of almost three years with Nila Madhab Panda's directorial "Kaun Kitney Paani Mein", says he intend to do a lot more work after the release of this film. Kunal was last seen in the 2012 release "Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana" with Huma Qureshi. The actress was present at the trailer launch of "Kaun Kitne Paani Mein" here on Wednesday when he was asked to explain why he is doing less film and is there any plan to do more movies after "Kaun Kitne Paani Mein". "I hope so... I was just looking back at my career and I have realised that I have done very few films and I don't think that's a good idea. I intend to to a lot more work," he said. Kunal made his debut in 2005 with M.F. Husain-directed "Meenaxi: A Tale of Three Cities". After that he did multi-starrer films like "Rang De Basanti", "Laaga Chunari Mein Daag", "Don" and "Aaja Nachle", among others. Explaining the reason for doing very few films in his decade-old career, he said he only does films that excite him. "There are two ways in life... one is just do whatever comes your way and the other is just do what excites you. So far I have chosen the latter. Hopefully, there will be scripts that I enjoy so I will be able to stick to the latter, but if that is not a possibility then I think I have to take a slight step towards the other side," he added. "Kaun Kitney Paani Mein" talks about the issue of water crisis in India and also stars Radhika Apte, Gulshan Grover and Saurabh Shukla in key roles. The film is slated to hit the theatres later this year.
