Speculations about Dileep and Kavya Madhavan getting married have been rife for a long time now. Mollywood’s beloved on-screen couple has denied the rumours multiple times as well. However, according to an interview given to Vanitha, Dileep has hinted otherwise. Dileep was quoted saying in the interview, “My life has been an open book and whenever a new thing happens, it will be communicated to all. Time will tell everything.” Dileep also clarified that Kavya is not the reason behind his separation from former wife Manju Warrier. Dileep married actress Manju Warrier in the year 1998. The couple also has a daughter. They separated in 2014. Dileep has so far starred in over 130 Malayalam films. Kavya has also done close to 75 Malayalam films and has won the Kerala state award twice. Kavya separated from her husband Nishal Chandra in the year 2011. In a former interview with indianexpress.com earlier, Kavya said, “Dileep is not just a great co-star but also my closest friend. When we work with people who we are close to, acting becomes comfortable. Without realising, a chemistry works out. And it is not something that is limited to only Dileep. If we are working with co-stars who are playing your mother or enacting some other role, there is a spontaneous give and take equation that develops. It happens on its own and only with a few. The comfort level ultimately reflects onscreen and the audience likes it. In the case of Dileep, after having worked together in so many films, the chemistry and comfort level are something that gradually developed. Also, we have to be grateful to the script writers who wrote such great roles for us be it Meesa Madhavan or Thenkasipattanam. These were characters that many could relate to.”

Kavya Madhavan to do a movie after a one year hiatus
Talented actress Kavya Madhavan will play the lead in yet another movie after a year long hiatus. The actress was keeping a low profile for the past year. Her new movie is a socially relevant one. The theme is that of the closing down of government schools. The movie is being directed by debutant director Suneesh Babu. Apparently, the actress wants to use her own voice as she did with 'She Taxi'. However the makers wants to use a feminine voice suitable for someone who would host a show as is Kavya's role. The other condition is regarding the release of the movie. She wants 'She Taxi' to release first and wants the makers of 'Akash Vani' to postpone the release.
Kavya Madhavan opens online clothing store
Actress Kavya Madhavan has launched an online clothing store in association with her brother Midhun Madhavan, who is a designer by profession. The store will feature exclusive designer wears, ornament collections, western wears etc. Stitched lehengas, blouses and part wear are other available cloths. Kavya is reportedly gearing up to set up a warehouse and head office at Kochi. For shipping and delivery purposes, the team is planning to join hands with a leading courier agency . Kavya had tried out a clothing line earlier which was shut down later. This new initiative is expected to fare well.

Kavya Madhavan says that her life experiences have taught her a lot and that she has now become more mature and understanding. She says that she understood the real nature of friendship during her days of struggle. She recalls that she had lost a lot many friends when she came back after her divorce.
