Keka, the movie by Teja that will have a cast comprising newcomers who were chosen from the Kingfisher Talent Hunt, will be launched in the city on February 22. As is already known, Suresh Babu is producing the film. But it's not just Teja. According to the tinsel ville grapevine, Chandrasekhar Yeleti too would be launching his film on the same day, as it is said to be an auspicious one. Tentatively titled Hayi Hayiga, this film too will have a cast comprising newcomers and will be shot in Sweden. A talent hunt is currently on for the lead pair. 'Keka' to introduce 30 newcomers
Teja is making the film titled 'Keka' on the Chitram Movie banner along with Suresh Productions. The film's shooting has started on Friday morning here. However, the actual schedule will begin on March 1. Teja reveals that his film will be introducing 30 newcomers to the industry in various roles. However, he has still not announced who the chosen ones are for the lead roles from among the contestants.
'Keka' getting ready for October 2nd release
Director Teja introduces a new lead cast in all his films. After a gap of 10 years he is making a new film 'Keka' on 'Chitam Movies' banner, with a new pair as hero and heroine. Currently, the re-recording is in progress which is a part of the post-productions work. Teja is planning to launch this flick on 2nd October. The movie's title and script is not bridged Speaking on this occasion director Teja said "We are making a film almost after a 10 years gap on Chitram Movies banner. Due to a small confusion, I have waited for 2 years to make this film with a good script. We have made this film with a unique screenplay, and have planned a package presented in a innovative style. We are also venturing a new approach for the music. As there is a lot of scope for photography, P.C.Sriram bears the responsibility of cinematography. Currently re-recording under progress. The intial work will be completed to screen the film soon. The title and the movie has no connectivity, however, there is a title song in the film." Producer Kethireddy Jagadeesh Reddy said "this is the 5th movie made on this banner. All the work will be completed and the movie will be released on 2nd October, made with 150 prints all over the state. Compared to the earlier films of director Teja this film is technically a notch high. P.C.Sriram's Photography and screenplay are also high spots for the film. There are six songs, with good tunes composed by Chakri. Music director Chakri was also present on the occasion.
'Keka' is certified [U]
The movie 'Keka' directed by Teja has passed the censor board and is certified [U]. Teja has always been distinct in his movies and is no way different with his latest. He introduces a myriad of 36 new faces in this movie. 'Oka Vichitram' was Teja's last which was flooded with rave reviews from the spectators. This new flick delves into the life of street children who struggles for their survival. Another innovative experiment is the movie is narrated through a reverse screenplay. The censor board made an objection for a single dialogue which was removed later. Apart from that, the movie has no possible flaws and it is said, the board of members was truly amazed by the photography and the music composed. Keka is going to be released worldwide on October 23rd.
Kevvu Keka audio on June 30
Comedy King Allari Naresh’s forthcoming film Kevvu Keka audio is scheduled for a launch on 30th June which coincides with Allari Naresh’s Birthday. Music for the film is by Chinni Charan. Kevvu Keka shooting schedules of the film have been wrapped up and the post-production works are in progress and the makers are planning to release the film in July. Allari Naresh paired up with the actress Sharmila Mandre in the film. Devi Prasad of Blade Babji fame wielded the megaphone and Boppana Chandrasekhar produced the movie on Jahnavi Productions banner. Like their former combo Blade Babji, the next release Kevvu Keka is also touted to be a full-fledged comedy entertainer.
Teja's 'Keka' with Suresh Productions
It was not long before we reported about the probability of Teja doing a film for Suresh Productions. Well, now it's official. He is doing a film titled 'Keka'. The film will be jointly produced by Teja under the Chitram Movies' banner and Suresh Productions. The lead pair will be the ones chosen from the winners of the Kingfisher Talent Hunt held recently. The talent hunt too was organized by MAA TV, Teja and Suresh Productions. Since it is a well-known fact that Teja is considered to be the best option when it comes to directing newcomers, we will have to wait and watch as to what magic he will create with this new bunch. The songs recording will begin next year on January 1. The film's shooting is schedule for February.
