More news →'Avasariko Abaddam' censor done, Ready to Release
Taking the famous half line 'Avasaniko abaddam' (a lie for convenience) from the super hit song 'Meme Indians..' from Krishna Vamsi's Khadgam, KV Suresh has directed a film by that name. Starring Lokesh, Shashank, Rajesh, Geethanjali, Sandeep, Venky, MGR, Giridhar, Murali, Vijay, this one has music by Sai Kartheek. The movie has been certified with U/A. "Censor board members were happy with the product, and appreciated the work of the director", the makers have said. "The trailer of Avasariko Abaddam was launched recently by ace director Trivikram Srinivas. It has been receiving a tremendous response. Horror is much in currency, nowadays. We are confident of scoring a hit as the director has added all the required ingredients", the makers aver. The trailer has a couple of good lines; the film comes across as a blend of youthful banter and horror. This movie is all set for a grand release on August 26, a day on which Tarak Ratna's 'Yevaru', and 'Toli Premalo' will hit the screens
“Shafi’s performance is quite amazing”: Mahesh
Khadgam fame Shafi, who gave his powerful performance in his latest flick Mahesh’s Khaleja was appreciated by all the critics. Shafi had given a splendid performance as ‘Siddha’. His character could be claimed as the highlight of the movie, as Sita Ramaraju’s ( Mahesh Babu) character got the boost because of the shafi’s spell bound performance and gestures. We can see Shafi’s dedication towards his profession in the film, all the credit must go to Trivikram for choosing Shafi for this role. Mahesh babu speaking about Shafi’s performance and says, ‘ Shafi has become a key member of the unit as he digested the entire script. His role really elevated the hero’s image in the movie. His performance is quite amazing. Let us wish his talent would be recognised by the judges while giving awards that would be announced next year.’
Navadeep again in P.A.Arun Prasad's movie
Actor Navadeep has again teamed up with film maker P.A.Arun Pradad after 'Gautham SSC'. Mr. Prasad is the same director who made the movie 'Tammudu' with Pawan Kalyan as the hero. He is also in the process of making a silent film with Chief Minister Dr.Y.S.Rajasekhar Reddy and Brahmanandam in the lead roles. In the new yet to be titled movie Kim Sharma who acted in 'Khadgam' is the heroine of Navdeep. Currently the shooting is going on in Bangkok where the major portion of the film will be shot. Already two songs featuring the lead pair have been completed. The movie is being produced by Raju and Praveen under the banner of Silver Screen Movies.
'Shh' to be a suspense thriller
DTS mixing works are nearing completion for 'Shh' (Idi Chaala Manchi Ooru) directed and produced by Haricharan Prasad and presented by Sukanya on the banner of Apoorva Chitra with Shafi of 'Khadgam' and 'Chatrapati'-fame as hero and Mithuna as heroine. Director cum producer says, "The film starts with an accident in its backdrop. The story and its movement would be thrilling. We brought out the film with murder mystery in its backdrop. The film was made with an inspiration from a novel scripted by noted English writer Richard Martin. We are sure that our film would make the audiences immerse in it totally as it had a novel movement. Especially, the screenplay would be a highlight of the flick. We are making efforts to release the film in September.' Sivakrishna, Madhavilata, Rallapalli, Rupa Devi, Ravi, Baby Likhitakshari and others are in the cast. Music is by Sri Vasanth, camera is by Muralimohan Reddy, lyrics are by Veturi and art is by Ramesh Rebba.
'Indrajit' completes shooting
Shooting of 'Indrajit' directed by Guna Nagendraprasad and produced by VR Prasad on the banner of Goodwill Creations with Saikumar, Sangeeta in the lead, Master Indra (Sai) in the title role and Ramyakrishna in another important role, was almost completed recently. Speaking on the occasion, producer says, 'The film runs with patriotism in its backdrop. Especially, our film would give a fitting reply to the recent terrorist activities and bomb blasts that rocked the country recently. Saikumar is playing the role of an Army officer. Basically, I am a real estate businessman and I brought out this film to promote my son Master Indra as a hero.' Director says, 'But for a little patch work, shooting was almost complete. We will soon launch the audio.' Saikumar says, 'I am playing a nice character in this film and surely the film would attract all classes of audiences. There are several inspiring scenes between me and the child hero. Ramyakrishna played the role of a teacher. So far, I played in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam language films and very soon I am going to act in a Bollywood film too.' Sangeeta says, 'After a long time, I am playing a good role in this film.' Prithvi of 'Khadgam'-fame played the villain in this flick. Bhanuchander, Prasadbabu, Suttivelu, Ranganath, Jeeva, Annapurna, Ragini, Rajitha, Baby Trisha, Master Charan, Abhinav, Sachit, Harish, Vijay, Munna, Vinod, Surya, Rajendra and others are in the cast. Camera is by Anji, editing is by Nandamuri Hari, music is by Kumar, story and lyrics are by 'Indra' Prasad, dialogues are by Vemagiri, action is by Satish, while screenplay and direction are by Guna Nagendra Prasad.
