What is Om Puri doing in Khallas?

There are some movies where it becomes difficult to comprehend the presence of some actors. A low budget unknown film titled KHALLAS is one of them! The film comes across as a routine action drama revolving around crime, cops and underworld with elements of violence, sleaze and cheap thrills incorporated in it. Nothing wrong with that since there are audience for such genre of films and business continues to thrive for them. But what comes as an absolute shocker is the presence of Om Puri in the film who is being highlighted all over. Though the promo lasts for just a few seconds, it doesn't quite require am Einstein to predict that Puri probably has just a guest appearance but is used for creating awareness about the film. Coming with a tagline of 'Beginning of an end', KHALLAS is one of those movies that Om Puri would certainly not be proud of flouting in his resume.
