Rajesh Khanna and Zeenat Aman dance on remixes in 'Jaana'

Though neither Rajesh Khanna nor Zeenat Aman are anywhere to be seen in the promotion of their latest film 'Jaana - Let's Fall In Love' a little birdie tells us that their roles were quite interesting when the film's shooting was on. In fact apart from Rehan Khan and Anjana Sukhani, the lead pair of the film, Rajesh Khanna and Zeenat Aman, were touted to relive the nostalgia of the 70s with a romantic pairing that would bring them back into the limelight. Apart from sharing some tender moments together, they have also danced to the tunes of as many as 5 yesteryear hits of theirs from the past. The songs (that are not a part of the music album) have been presented as situational based remixes and come up whenever the two veterans come face to face.

Vishram Sawant, Randeep Hooda and Vinod Khanna take a 'Risk'

After working together in 'D', director Vishram Sawant and actor Randeep Hooda are back together with a film that has been interestingly titled 'RISK'! Setting the misconception right, the film doesn't come from Ram Gopal Verma's Factory and in fact is an independent film from the production house Risk Design & Advertising Ltd. In the film Randeep Hooda plays a righteous and a no-nonsense cop. While Hooda-Vishram combo itself makes the film interesting, what could be the prime attraction of the film is Vinod Khanna's association with the project. In 'Risk', Vinod Khanna plays the main villain and appears in a new getup and attire. The last time he played a villain was 5 years back for Ashu Trikha directed 'Deewanapan' that had Arjun Rampal and Dia Mirza in the lead.

Rajesh Khanna-Zeenat Aman unite

After being in the industry for decades, its time for yesteryears' superstars Rajesh Khanna and Zeenat Aman to make a comeback as a pair with 'Jaana-Let's Fall In Love'. As per the industry buzz, the two play their age and shown to be in love with each other. The story is as much about them 'falling in love' than just the younger lead pair of Rehan Khan and Anjana Sukhani. Also, the film is rumored to have a song that features both Rajesh Khanna and Zeenat Aman in the costumes that made a fashion statement in the 70s.

Rajesh Khanna-Hema Malini in a bhojpuri film

A few months back, Amitabh Bachchan's 'Namak Halal' was dubbed in Bhojpuri and released in the northern belt. Now it's time for Rajesh Khanna and Hema Malini to see one of their films getting dubbed in Bhojpuri! The film is SITAPUR KI GEETA that was released way back in 1987 and starred the lead pair along with usual suspects [most suited for a film set in a village that is under a constant fear of 'thakurs'] like Raza Murad, Amjad Khan, Tej Sapru, Shakti Kapoor, Jankidas and Pran. Directed by Shibu Mitra, who has to his credits films like 'Bindiya Aur Bandook', 'Insaaf Main Karoonga', 'Aag Hi Aag', 'Paap Ki Duniya' and most recently 'Kasam', 'Sitapur Ki Geeta' is a usual cop v/s bandit masala fare that worked in a big way during the 70s and the 80s.

Akshay Khanna Goes Behind The Mike

Akshay Khanna is a fantastic star-actor. Now he joins the list of mega stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan and Abhishek Bachchan by getting into a recording studio to sing a song for his forthcoming Dharmesh Darshan directed 'Aap ki Khatir'. He may also consider it his good fortune that the hotshot music director Himesh Reshamiya has composed this small 'Nazm' written by Sameer. 'Aap Ki Khatir' is inspired by Yash Chopra's poetic drama 'Kabhi Kabhi' that was high on Sahir Ludhyanvi's magical poetry. It was Himesh who bounced off the idea to Khanna and the perfectionist in him took a while before he agreed to the offer. Well, all this sounds good fun when a star decides to do something different. But what beats me is that if you are getting inspired from a classic like 'Kabhi Kabhi' then couldn't you found a better lyricist to pen the thoughts. In spite of Sameer being a prolific wordsmith, his poetic skills are strictly average.

Vinod Khanna Takes a Risk

Vinod Khanna is back in action. Literally. The actor with a stunning sex appeal was once a threat to Amitabh Bachchan with his domineering personality, cleft chin and decent acting credentials. But then he meandered towards Osho's ashram and then politics. Now, he feels he has a house to run and he better earn some good money to fend for himself. And he is also all set to make an unconventional comeback as a dehati Don in Vishram Sawant's ('D' fame) 'Risk' with Randeep Hooda as co-star. Vinod Khanna was the mainstay of films like 'Amar Akbar Anthony', 'Muqaddar Ka Sikandar', 'Parvarish' and 'Qurbani'. Once he was back from his stint with spirituality, Khanna got into action yet again. And he is best remembered for that famous lip-lock with Madhuri Dixit in Feroze Khan's 'Dayavaan'. Vinod Khanna is the Member of Parliament from Gurdaspur constituency in Punjab and was also a minister in the union government during Atal Bihari Vajpayee's tenure as PM. Father of famous sons Akshay and Rahul Khanna, Vinod Khanna is a contented man with a restless spirit. He wishes to get back to doing films with a vengeance, direct a film if possible and yes he would love to team up with Amitabh Bachchan once again. Welcome back Mr Khanna'
