More news →'Munna' to hit screen on 'Khushi' release day
Sentiment is playing a key role in the Telugu film industry. If a film's title proved a hit, several other films would be released with similar kind of titles or with the same combination of artistes and technicians. Very recently, the sentiment is being attached to the release date of a hit film. 'Gundammagari Manavadu' directed by B Jaya with Ali in the lead and produced on the banner of RR Movie Makers is going to hit the screen. Earlier, many hit films like 'Yamaleela' of Ali, 'Adavi Ramudu' of NTR, and 'Pokiri' of Maheshbabu proved blockbusters after their release on the same day. Likewise, 'Munna' produced by Dil Raju introducing Vamsy Paidipalli as director with Prabhas as hero is slated for release on April 21. Dil Raju says, 'I entered into the film industry by distributing a hit film called 'Khushi' from the same day and later turned a producer. I am confident I would bag a hit with 'Munna' by releasing the film on the same day.'
Renu Desai clears air on Khushi 2
There is buzz that Renu Desai acting as one of the Producers for Pawan Kalyan-SJ Suryah's 'Kushi 2'. However, Neither Pawan Kalyan nor any of the members in his Coterie either confirmed or condemned these reports. Today, Renu Desai posted a Tweet giving a feeling that her association with 'Kushi 2' is just a baseless rumor. 'Hello all :) Only if I tweet it here it's true, rest all is the crazy imagination of crazier beings :D,' she wrote. With the tweet, Renu Desai has actually confused the Mega Fans. ‘Rakta Charitra’ is not for people who like ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’
Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma, known for his controversial comments, again spoke his mind when he said that his forthcoming film “Rakta Charitra” was not for people who are fond of Karan Johar’s family drama “Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham”. Varma and Johar have often locked horns on various subjects on social networking sites and in front of the media and Varma didn’t lose an opportunity to do the same at an event organised here, where the director showed 30 minutes of footage of “Rakta Charitra” to the media. “I wanted to give a small introduction to the film and that was the purpose of showing this footage to a certain section of the people,” Varma told reporters here. “I have done films of this genre before. But the difference in ‘Rakta Charitra’ or let’s say in ‘Company’ is that first, the latter has a urban setup and the second ‘Company’ is different in terms of the characters and the way it has been shot. “‘Rakta Charitra’ deals with very emotionally volatile people and is set in a rural atmosphere. It is a violent film. Having said that, violence doesn’t come from a psychopath. It comes from a certain necessity. It comes from a struggle, certain have nots between communities, families and probably a struggle for power,” he added. The film is a trilingual made in Telugu, Hindi and Tamil. It is based on the life of Paritala Ravi, a slain factionist and political leader from Andhra Pradesh. The film stars Vivek Oberoi, Surya and Shatrughan Sinha in pivotal roles and is scheduled to be released Oct 22. “In terms of the pitch of the film. I just want to quote an incident that happened with Hollywood filmmaker Quentin Tarantino. “When he showed his first film ‘Pulp Fiction’ to people, he apparently went on stage and asked the people that did any one of them like the ‘Rain Man’. About 30-40 people raised their hands. He told those people to leave because he said that this film was not for them,” said Varma. “So this film ‘Rakta Charitra’ is not for the people who like ‘Kabhie Khushi Kabhie Gham’.”
'Krushi' slated for release on July 18
Post-production works are in brisk pace for 'Krushi' directed by Sivaji Prasad, presented by Jakkampudi Satyanarayana Murthy and sons produced by Peketi Subramalleswara Rao on the banner of SVSS Films with Yashwant and Suhani in the lead. Director says, 'The audiences could witness the beautiful locales of Konaseema captured by the camera in our film. At the same time, we gave a fantastic message through our movie.' Producer says, 'It is the story of a youth, who achieved success out of his sheer hard work and who remained a role model for the present generation. The first copy would be ready very soon and we are making efforts to release the film on July 18.' Rajkiran scored music for the flick. The audio which was released into the market is getting a positive response. Hero and heroine of the film Yashwant and Suhani expressed their hope that the film would earn them a good name as the film was a beautiful family love subject. Story and dialogues are by Mohan, music is by Rajkiran, camera is by Sivaram SV, while editing is by Nagireddy.
Khushbu confirmed in Pawan Kalyan and Trivikram film
Yesteryear demi goddess and beautiful actress Khushbu has been recently approached for a role in Pawan Kalyan’s film written and Directed by Trivikram Srinivas. If the actress will accept the role offered to her was a big suspense. After launching the movie officially back in November Trivikram went and sat on his casting choices and script to accommodate and fine tune as much as possible. He completed the work on script side now and is waiting to take the movie on floors and complete it in a very planned manner to let Pawan Kalyan have enough time to look after his political activities as well as the film shoots. There is also a pressure that it could be his last movie before completely devoting himself to politics and so the director who is also a close friend wants this to be a hattrick and highly successful film. The rumour mills stated that after confirming Meghana Akash, Keerthy Suresh as lead actresses along with his regulars Rao Ramesh, Ajay, the director has approached Khushbu, Upendra and Mohan Lal for the roles in his movie. But people were bit skeptical about if all this would be true and such a big star cast is nowhere new for Trivikram it might delay the shooting process. Fans were worried if the movie will again be on cards of family oriented subject as they wanted duo to explore a new genre. The duo did a youthful romantic comedy with Jalsa and a family entertainer with Attharintiki Daredi. So they were expecting an adventure or action film from the duo.Well, however their expectations are, the eagerness in fans to see Pawan Kalyan as a Stylish Trivikram hero with Anirudh’s back ground score has reached its peak. Khushbu today announced that she is a part of the movie on her social media site, Twitter handle and made sure to praise Trivikram about the script. Fans went crazy over her tweet about the script being brilliant and the connection she sited for her last movie in Telugu being Stalin with Chiranjeevi and comeback movie being Pawan Kalyan’s movie.
