King Khan meets his latest mother

Because of similar incidents in the past, for Shah Rukh Khan the experience will not have the same impact as that for Poonam Mahajan, a fifty four year old housewife from Kolkata. The lady from Bengal came with a box of sweets, presented it to King Khan along with a bouquet of beautiful flowers during an episode of 'Kya Aap Paanchvi Pass Se Tez Hain' and asked the badshah of Bollywood to be her son. The woman must have waited for years for getting the opportunity to meet King Khan and must have felt herself in cloud nine. So her hugging Shah Rukh repeatedly does not come as a surprise or exaggeration. For SRK whose both parents departed from this world years ago, what emotions his mind must have gone through in that few moments can be rightly sensed by his forgetting of the lines of the show. Though King Khan was surprised at first, he added to the thrill of Poonam Mahajan when he hugged her back and had the sweets right out of her hands and kept calling her Poonam aunty. The Czar of Bollywood surely has many more mothers waiting desperately for a chance to meet their adopted son.

King to kick the butt soon

For the nicotine, it does not matter if it is a beggar who inhales it or the King of Bollywood himself. The pull of the dangerous substance is such that even the most determined will find it a mammoth task to make it a part of history after getting hooked. In the end, Shah Rukh Khan's children's wish needed to come out to rescue him from his addictiveness to cigarettes. Giving an interview to a Malayalam newspaper from Pollachi in Tamilnadu, where the shooting of film maker Priyadarshan's film 'Billo Barber' is going on, Shah Rukh told that in the next two-months he will say goodbye to his smoking for ever. The film star said that his children hated his smoking habit and that their wish to see him without the company of cigarettes is a blessing in disguise as if they had no problems, he would have continued to smoke. Health minister Anbumani Ramadoss will be the most happy man to hear king khan's announcement. The minister had earlier made a request to Shah Rukh as well as other actors not to smoke in their films. The actor said that he completely agree with what the minister told, but as the cinema is all about make believe, the film makers should have the creative liberties to show what they want. Only the coming months will tell whether this decision of the actor will become a reality or not. We all know about one perfectionist Khan who admitted sometime back that he has taken up smoking again because of the stress. And for Shah Rukh, the reason behind this final two month period to kill the urge remains a mystery.

King Khan's Billo Barber shelved

Alas! For few, it's getting dashed down with their hopes, but that wouldn't prolong for a long time. The release of most expected Shah Rukh Khan's flick Billo Barber is shelved to next year. Earlier, plans were to release the film on November 7 and now has been postponed to January next. Catching up with some of the closest sources, we got to hear one fine rigid reason for the delay. With the Tamil version of Katha Parayum Pol, 'Kuselan' flunking at Tamil Box office, plans are to shoot remaining portions so peculiarly. Billo Barber indeed is the first flick that would have Shah Rukh Khan and Director Priyadarshan joining hands. Churned out by Shah Rukh himself under the banner of Red Chillies, the film features Irrfan Khan in lead. Well, King Khan performs cameo role as a film superstar. Meanwhile, for those yearning to watch their hero on screen will have something great to exult on December 12. Any guesses, why? Yup! Its meeting of titans, for the film 'Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi' of duo combo Aditya Chopra-Shah Rukh will hit screens'
