More news →'King' to be launched on April 7
Nagarjuna's next film King will officially be launched on April 7. Though Sreenu Vaitla is very busy finishing off Ready, he is trying his best to concentrate on King simultaneously. News is that Kona Venkat and Gopi Mohan are giving the final touches to the script right now. The film as we had reported will be an entertainer. After a long time, Nagarjuna will be dancing to the tunes of Devisri Prasad. They had earlier worked together for 'Manmadhudu'.
'King' begins shoot
The shooting of a film directed by Sreenu Vaitla and produced by Siva Prasada Reddy on the banner of Kamakshi Kala Movies was formally launched with a simple function at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad on April 30, away from the publicity blitzkrieg. Akkineni Nageswara Rao gave the clap, while Smt Amala switched on the camera for the muhurat shot. 'King' is the title under consideration for the movie. Trisha is pairing up with Nagarjuna in this flick. Devisri Prasad is scoring music. Sources in Film Nagar say that the film would be a hilarious entertainer. Presently, Sreenu Vaitla is busy giving final touches for 'Ready' with Ram of Devadasu fame as hero. The regular shooting of 'King' is most likely to begin from May 20.
'King' gets to the floors
A new film 'King' has been in the news for sometime now. Its quite natural that when the film's hero is Nagarjuna , then the curiosity of the film lovers will only increase. Within a couple of months the movie can hit the cinema halls as the movie's shooting has already started at Saradhi Studios in Hyderabad. The film is directed by Srinu Vaitla and Trisha plays the love interest of Nagarjuna. 'King' is produced by Siva Prasad Reddy under the banner of Kamakshi Movies.
'King' shoots in RFC
Directed by Sreenu Vaitla and produced by D Sivaprasad Reddy on the banner of Kamakshi Kala Movies, 'King' with Nagarjuna and Trisha in the lead is progressing at a brisk pace in Ramoji Film City. Producer says, 'Last year, Nagarjuna came before the people as 'Don' and this time he is coming up as 'King' by December this year. Some important scenes were shot on Srihari, Chandramohan, Trisha and others. Director Sreenu Vaitla says, 'I liked Nagarjuna in films like 'Siva, Hello Brother'. Nagarjuna's performance is simply superb in these two films. I am making efforts to project Nagarjuna in a bigger role than those films. The audiences could watch a new Nagarjuna in this movie.' Brahmanandam, Sunil, Venumadhav, MS Narayana, Chitram Sreenu, besides 40 other prominent artistes are playing key roles in the movie. Story is by Gopi-Mohan, Kona Venkat and Ravi, music is by Devisri Prasad, camera is by Prasad Murella, editing is by MR Varma, action is by Ram-Lakshman, art is by AS Prakash, while screenplay and direction are by Sreenu Vaitla.
'King' sailing smoothly aiming Dec 18
The soon to be released movie 'King' having Nagarjuna in the lead role and directed by the super hit director Sreenu Vytla is being wrapped up fast. Around 60 percent of the shooting has been completed. The next schedule for canning a song and a chase sequence will start today and will continue till October 4 in Ooty. After that Bangalore will be the location for the next schedule from 5th Oct to 4th Nov, in which all the cast members will be involved. Some songs are also being planned to be shot in Turkey and Dubai. There is no need to say about the expectations of the film lovers when the movie's hero is Nagarjuna. But one another reason that has fueled the rising expectations is the first time pairing of Trisha with the Tollywood hero. Dr. Srihari will be seen in the movie in a special role. Brahmanandam, Venu Madav, Deepak, Suneel, Dharmavarapu Subrahmanyam, Chandra Mohan, Krishna Bhagvan, M.S.Narayan, Shayaji Shinde, Jaiprakash Reddy and AVS are the important actors in 'King'. Devi Sri Prasad is the music composer for the songs written by Sahithi and Ramajogaiah Sastry. Prasad Murella is the cinematographer, Ramlakshman is the fight master, M.R.Varma is the Editor. 'King' which will hit the cinema halls on December 18 is being produced by D.Sivaprasad Reddy under the banner of Kamakshi Kala Movies.
'King' vs 'Neninthe'
The tug of cold war has begun between King vs Neninthe and it is sheer coincidence that bought the release dates of both these movies on the same day. Akkineni Nagarjuna dons the protagonist in this movie, in the direction of Sreenu Vytla. Trisha plays the lady love in this grandly made movie 'King'. Producer D Sivaprasad Reddy makes this movie on Kamakshi Kala Movies banner. The special features that comes with this movie is, King brings Nagarajuna and Sreenu Vytla together on screen for the first time. Another first time is Nag and Trisha's duet. Adding to this, Nagarjuna is playing a three dimensional role in King. The shooting of 'King' is in the final stages. The audio is going to be released on 23rd in a grand function, which will also stage the introduction of Nagarjuna's son NagChaithanya to the media. 'King' movie is getting ready for release on 18th of December. Puri Jagannath earlier delivered the hits starring Ravi Teja in 'Itlu Sravani Subrahmanyam', 'Idiot', 'Amma Nanna O Tamil Ammai''. Currently, with Ravi Teja and Shriya, Jagannath is directing 'Neninthe', produced by DVV Danaiah on Universal Media banner. With an exception of two songs, the shooting has been completed. Right now the songs are being filmed in New Zealand. The story line of the film is said to be a satirical version on the film industry. Incidentally, this film is also getting ready for release on 18th December. Thus, 18th of December has gained importance by itself in Tollywood as a day on which two anticipated movies of leading heroes are going to be released. It is only coincidence that the two big films are arriving on the same date, as their production works has been completed parallel to one another. Except the release dates, there is no competition or any such thing between these two films.
