Shooting of 'Kuberulu' directed by Srinivasa Reddy and jointly produced by Karuturi Srinivas and Meppelle Suresh on the banner of Godavari Talkies would begin in October. Suresh Teegala provided the story for the movie, which had a funny tagline as 'Veellaki Annee Appule'. Director Srinivasa Reddy says, 'The film would be a complete entertainer.' It may be recalled here that Srinivas Reddy had brought out several successful films like 'Adirindayya Chandram, Tata Birla Madhyalo Laila' and the recent release 'Yamagola' (Mallee Modalayindi). The director is known for portraying comedy in a different and novel way on the silver screen. Several popular comedians of the Telugu film industry would form part of the casting in this movie.
'Kuberulu' shoots climax
Shooting of climax scenes are in progress for 'Kuberulu' (Veeriki Annee Appulay) directed by Srinivasa Reddy and jointly produced by Karuturi Srinivas and Yaganti Srinivas on the banner of Godavari Talkies with Sivaji, Ali and Krishna Bhagawan in the lead in Hyderabad for the past few days. Director Srinivasa Reddy says, 'It is the story of three youths who day dream that they were the wealthiest persons in the world. One small incident changes their lives totally. What was the incident is a suspense. Like my earlier films 'Tata, Biala Madhyalo Laila' and others, this movie would also be a very good entertainer. All the three hero's characters were quite competitive. LB Sriram is playing the role of a Swamiji. Farjana is playing the female lead and the entire story revolves around her character. We will launch the post-production formalities by May 18.' Dr Siva Prasad, Kausha, Raghubabu, Telangana Sakuntala and others are in the cast. Story is by Siva-Suresh, dialogues are by Dasari Brahmam, lyrics are by Bhaskarabhatla Ravikumar, camera is by Ram Pinisetty, while music is by Jeevan Thomas.
'Kuberulu' shooting nearing completion
Shooting of 'Kuberulu' (Veeriki Annee Appulay) directed by Srinivasa Reddy and jointly produced by Karuturi Srinivas and Yaganti Srinivas on the banner of Godavari Talkies with Sivaji, Ali, Krishna Bhagawan and Farjana in the lead was almost complete with the shooting of some important scenes in a private house at Jubilee Hills on villain Siva Prasad and heroine Farjana. Earlier, the climax was shot at Aluminium factory premises a few days ago. Director Srinivasa Reddy says, 'Like my earlier films 'Tata, Birla Madhyalo Laila' and others, this movie would also be a very good entertainer. 'Kuberulu' final schedule in progress
Final schedule of 'Kuberulu' (Veeriki Annee Appule), directed by Srinivasa Reddy and produced by Karuturi Srinivas and Yaganti Srinivas on the banner of Godavari Talkies with Sivaji, Krishna Bhagawan, Farjana and Kausha in the lead was launched recently in Hyderabad. Producers say, 'We are planning to shoot some chasing sceens in Hyderabad under the direction of fight master Ganesh.' Director Srinivasa Reddy says, 'The film will have my mark comedy and at the same time it will run with a different screenplay. The film would turn interesting with the chasing formula. It is the story of two youth, who borrow money and articles from others and try to keep off from those who gave them money. How and why they did such work is the basic theme of the movie.'
'Kuberulu' audio on October 1st week
Sivaji, Ali, Krishna Bhagavan, Farzana and Kausha playing the lead cast in the film 'Kuberulu' is being directed by Srinivas reddy. Karuturi Srinivas and Yaganti Srinivas are producing it as a joint endeavor on Godavari Talkies banner. The film completed shooting and is through post-production work. On this occasion a press meet was organized in Hyderabad on Thursday. "Almost all the comedy actors of Tollywood shares screen space in this film" Srinivas Sharing the highlights of the film director Srinivas said, "Almost all the prominent comedy actors of Tollywood have shared screen space in this film. Presently the post-production work is in progress. We are preparing to release the audio in the first week of October and the film in the second week of October." Lyrics are penned down by Bhaskara Bhatla and cinematography by Ram Pinisetty. VS, Duvvasi Mohan, dialogue writer Dasari Brahmam and others were present on the occasion.
Rajini's 'Kuberudu' Dhanamlo Kaadu Gunamlo
The film 'Vadikkavadan' with Sivaji Ganeshan and Rajini in the lead roles is being dubbed into Telugu as 'Kuberudu'. The film has the tagline ' 'Dhanam lo Kaadu Gunamlo'. Rajnikanth plays the role of the younger brother of Sivaji Ganesan in the film. Rajini leaves home as he does not want to be a burden on his brother. Rajini ekes out a living by driving an auto. He lands himself n a murder case inadvertently. Sivaji, who is by now a judge, dons the robes of an advocate and fights the case on behalf of his brother. Nagesh, Ambika, Ramya Krishna, Vadivakkarasu and others are among the star cast. Rajashekar is the director and music is by Ilayaraja.
