Moreover, it involves a big director and a popular production house. So I am expecting good results. Also, acting with an experienced actor like Vijayakanth was a great learning experience for me.' Perarasu had approached few popular actresses to be part of the movie initially. However they had rejected and hence the baton was passed to Lakshmi Rai. 'I don't know why they refused it. Asked whether she would continue to do glamour roles, the actress says, 'glamour is integral part of being an actress. I hope Dharmapuri clicks and helps me continue my good run in the industry'.

In the process, you know what happens between them. 'Dhaam Dhoom' is expected to be released by Pongal. Lakshmi Rai is banking on the film directed by Jeeva, who passed away in Russia, for a break in her career. Let us see whether this film and her effort to dub enhance her caliber as an actor.
