It needs guts to keep such a title. The renowned cameraman of this country with a solid standing in 35 years of career working for 250 films winning two national awards Madhu Ambat has written story, screenplay, dialogues and taking it up for direction. It is titled as 'Death of Madhu Ambat'. The film opens with a requiem and unfolds various philosophical thoughts and looking it very real on screen. This is partly a biographical of the ace cameraman Madhu Ambat. Mr Madhu Ambat was speaking to this journalist at Green House restaurant at the get together party of Kavitha Lankesh's 'Avva' for which he had done the excellent cinematography. Many of my friends have told me to change the title of my second directorial venture 'Death of Madhu Ambat' but I am not ready to do it he said showing the script he had prepared in English. This film will go on the floor in 2009 end because Madhu Ambat is busy with some important films. He has just finished the hilarious Hindi film 'Maan Jaaye Mughal E-Azaam' starring Paresh Rawal, Rahul Roy, KK and Mallika Sherawat. He is taking up another interesting film 'Fauz Me Mauz' where a hot sexy girl enters the Army camp. At the age of 56 years Madhu Ambat is happy and content with his standing in the career. He has done maximum of cinematography for Malayalam films. He has come back to Kannada after 'Thabarana Kathe' that was made in the mid 80's. He is the winner of national award for 'Shringaram' and Sanskrit film 'Adhi Shankaracharya' directed by G.V.Iyer.
Soft but tough roles - Dr Madhu
The chocolate face Dr Madhu Gomathi who looks like Amul Baby has accepted tough roles in the beginning of his career in cinema. Dr.Madhu Gomathi a veterinary doctor who is very fond of taking care of cows (he look after 170 cows a strong follower of Ramachandrapura Math swamiji in this case) has the very soft attitudes. He was rechristened as Madhu Gomathi by Ramachandrapura Math Swamiji of Hosanagara in Shimoga. Now in his debut film 'CID Esha' Madhu Gomathi plays a terrorist with Ninasam Ashwath and Harish Rai in his company. All of them have no dialogues in the film. Madhu has got another prime offer in 'Maadesha' starring Shivarajakumar. He chopped his weight by 24 kilograms to suit the role in 'CID Esha' is a very improvement and shows his strong attitude to make it big in cinema. At the media briefing of the film 'CID Esha' popular actor Jaggesh appreciated the newcomer Dr.Madhu Gomathi talent and thanked the senior cinema photographer K.N.Nageshkumar for introducing Madhu to Kannada cinema. Jaggesh recalled his earlier days and said how cinema photographer K.N.Nageshkumar was strongly he was recommending him. Dr.Madhu Gomathi is special because he married Prathima in a Goshala three years ago. His love for cows (next only to mother he says) has made him to take up veterinary medicine. He obtained doctor degree from Hebbal Veterinary College in Bangalore.
'Manasugala Mathu Madhura' audio hits market
The Kannada film 'Manasugala Mathu Madhura' starring newcomer Anand and Haripriya audio cassettes and CD was released by veteran journalist P.G.Srinivasamurthy at Green House restaurant recently. Music director K.Kalyan's wife Aishwarya and two other new singers Divya and Archana have lent the voice for this film. Actor Anand an anchor in private satellite channel felt very happy for the good support extended to him in the debut. Actress Haripriya was absent to the audio release function. Director Manju Maskalmatti arranged for the screening of two songs of the film before the audio release function. Anand Audio Mohan has bought the rights of the film audio. Producer Kengeri Srinivas of 'MMM' is happy with the completion of the film and thanked his team for extending good cooperation. Director Manju Maskalmatti intends to release the film in the month of November 2007.
'Mussanje Mathu' complete
Billed as a pleasant and prominent film to hit the screen in the coming days starring stylish Sudeep, ravishing Ramya and amazing Anu Prabhakar in key roles 'Mussanje Maathu' has completed the shoot after storing a song Ninne Nodalentho Mathanadalentho Manasa Thiliyalentho Preethi Helalentho' shot at picturesque locations of Chickmagalur. Sudeep and Ramya took part in this song. This song was choreographed by Cool Jayanth in the cool and serene atmosphere says director Mahesh. The song is penned by Ramanarayan. Prior to this a journey song in train from Mysore to Krishnarajanagar a song Enagali Mundhe Sagali Bayasiddu Sigadhu Balalli'written by music director V.Sridhar was stored by cameraman Sundernath Suvarna. The whole film 'Mussanje Mathu' has been completed in 70 days producer Suresh Jain. The proprietor of Jhankar Music Company Jain is trying his luck in his third Kannada film. His earlier two films 'Ninagoskara' and 'Preethislebeku' did very bad business. Director Mahesh speaking to this correspondent says the wonderful cooperation of Sudeep, Ramya, Anu has made me very comfortable in the debut direction. A Mysorean Mahesh after passing II PUC completed ITI certificate course. He joined BEML and worked for some time. He shifted his interest to Police constable but was making slow progress in his mind to enter art field. Seven years ago he worked for 'Abhimana' television serial as a set boy. He had even washed utensils before becoming a set boy. He became the episode director for the same television serial was his interesting growth in life. After brief stint in the camp of Ravi Srivatsa he is turning independent director from 'Mussanje Mathu'. The patience is the main asset to a director says Mahesh. In 'Mussanje Mathu' you will see a different kind of love story and will be surely surprised says confident director Mahesh. Sudeep plays RJ in this film. Ramya the most beautiful actress with brain in Kannada cinema has a very significant role in this film. Disenchanted Ramya in the company of Anu Prabhakar overcome the strain in her life in 'Mussanje Mathu'. Anu Prabakar was suggested for the role by Sudeep is having good prominence.
Madhu Masam begins songs recording
The first schedule of 'Madhu Masam' directed by Chandra Siddhartha of 'Aa Naluguru'-fame and produced by Dr D Ramanaidu on the banner of Suresh Productions with Sumanth, Sneha and Parvathi Melton in the lead was completed recently. The second schedule of the film would begin very soon. Meanwhile, songs recording for the film has begun at Mahathi Recording Studio in Film Nagar of Hyderabad. The film would complete the shooting and other post-production formalities soon and would be released in December or in January.
Madhu Masam shoot in progress
Canning of a song is in progress for 'Madhu Masam' directed by Chandra Siddhartha and produced by Movie Moghul Dr D Ramanaidu under the banner Suresh Productions. This film has Sumanth, Sneha and Parvati Melton in the lead. The song is being shot at Ramanaidu Cine Village in Nanakramguda of Hyderabad. Addressing film journalists, Dr D Ramanaidu said, 'We are making a beautiful love story in an entertaining manner like our earlier films 'Nuvvuleka Nenulenu and Kalisundam' Raa.' Director Chandra Siddhartha is an asset for the film, while Manisharma's music is another highlight. Shooting of the talkie part would come to an end by December 16 and we will release the film after completing the post-production formalities.' Sumanth said, 'My long cherished desire to act in Suresh Productions' banner has been fulfilled with 'Madhu Masam.' It is really a beautiful love story. The story is very interesting and its narration by Chandra Siddhartha is further interesting.' Sneha said, 'I feel very fortunate to act in a film under Suresh Productions banner. I wish the film would be a big hit.' Satyanand is penning dialogues for this film.
