The trend of making biopics has caught on to telugu film industry from bollywood now. Mahanati Savitri's biopic would be made now and will be helmed by young director Nag Ashwin. He has earlier delivered a successful movie, Yevade Subramaniam. Savitri has given some memorable performances in movies like Devadasu, Missamma, Penin Perumai, Pasa Malar, Bhale Ramudu, 'Thodi Kodallu, Mayabazaar and Gundamma Katha.
Prabhas Mahaabali sets new records
Young Rebel star Prabhas's Mahaabali in SS Rajamouli's direction will break director's earlier records by adding more number of VFX shots in his new film compared to Naan Ee. Yes, Rajamouli will reportedly have 4500-5000 Visual effects in Mahaabali, who has used 2234 VFX shots for Naan Ee movie. It is to be noted that Mahaabali marks the highest budget in Rajamouli's career. Arka Media presenting Mahaabali casts Anushak, Rana, Tamanna in the other lead roles. MM. Keeravani is the music director for the movie.
