Krishnavamsi escapes major accident
Creative director Krishnavamsi escaped a major accident with minor injuries. According to information, the director is returning from Vijayawada after finishing shooting. However, the car in which he was travelling met with an accident. The driver of his car, while trying to avert collision with another vehicle, swerved the steering and the car overturned in the roadside agricultural fields. Krishnavamsi suffered bleeding injuries to his head and fractured his leg. He was immediately shifted to Nandigama government hospital where he was given the first aid. Nandigama MLA, Mr Devineni Uma Maheswara Rao, visited the hospital and took Krishnavamsi to Vijayawada in his car for further treatment. It may be mentioned here that Krishnavamsi is directing a film produced by Sunkara Madhu Murali on the banner of Sri Kartikeya Films with Tarun and Genelia in the lead, whose shooting is in progress in Vijayawada for the past few days.
'Day 2 Day' completes major portions
Kausha is playing the lead role in the movie Day2Day has completed about seventy percent of shooting. The film is directed by Bujjinaidu and produced by LCH Ganesh for Mano Nethre Creations. The producer addressed a press meet and said, 'we have consolidated conspicuous occurrences at shooting sites to make this suspense thriller movie. Comedy forms a major part of Day2Day'. According to executive producer Srinivasa Rao, the viewers will be excited to watch every sequence. The prominent cast includes Rallapalli, Prudhvi, Kondavalasa, Sarika Ramachandra Rao, Munni, Mohan. Story and dialogues of the film is by Chaithanya Ganesh and music by Sahit. Cinematography is by Kalyan. The executive producers of Day2Day are Manne Srinivas Rao and Haneef S.A.
Balakrishna escapes a major accident
In what be said as a good news for all Nandamuri fans, super star Balakrishna came out unhurt just a short while ago from a major accident while on his way to Bangalore. Going into details, the car which he was travelling hit the divider on the road and Balakrishna and his party members escaped a major accident. This incident happened in Bagepally and reports coming suggest that the actor and his men are absolutely fine. Incidentally, Balakrishna’s brother son Janakiram was killed in a horrible car accident in Vijayawada.
Major production houses eyeing Katrina
It's a known fact that Katrina is the only actress to have had four back to back hits last year'€”Namastey London, Apne, Partner and Welcome. And this year begins with Race that is all set to hit the theatres soon. Her two tracks 'Touch Me' and 'Sexy Lady' have her gyrating seductively to have viewers' eyes popping out of their sockets. The songs have topped the list and Katrina has become the talk of the town. Looking at the curiosity that 'Touch Me' had generated, director duo Abbas and Mustan shot 'Sexy Lady' with Katrina and Saif. So impressed was producer Ramesh Taurani with Katrina-Saif track that it was included in the audio CD too. Meanwhile, Katrina's Rs 6 cr deal with Studio 18 has generated interest amongst other A-list production houses which are looking at cracking similar contract with her.
Major Sundararajans son into production
Remember Goutham. He is the son of veteran actor Major Sundararajan. Goutham had acted in a few films besides establishing himself as successful choreographer. Now the actor-cum-choreographer is planning to venture to film production. Goutham will produce a film titled Aiyandham Padai. Director-turned-actor Sundar C will play the hero in the movie. Badri, who directed Sundar C for Veerappu recently, will wield the megaphone again. Search is on for heroines.
