Bollywood stars are no less when it comes to professionalism. Katrina Kaif was injured during the shooting of her movie but she continues to her shoot after injury. And now Bollywood hot actress Veena Malik has joined the list of Bollywood actresses who injured herself by giving their best and now Bollywood hot actress Veena Malik has just proved her dedication towards work for her upcoming Kannada movie “Silk Sakkath Hot Maga” in Thailand. Veena, while shooting for the song tore her toe nail and it started bleeding profusely. The doctor was called on sets immediately and Veena's foot was bandaged. Filming in Thailand has been halted for several hours to allow Veena to recover. It’s a known fact she gives her heart and soul while filming a movie. Veena Malik said, “Being injured is not a new thing for me but this one was little bit tough for me because the song needs a romantic feeling and getting injured while filming the song it was really painful and difficult. Thailand is a very beautiful place I love it.” It seems that Malik is leaving no stone unturned to make sure her movie rings the bell at the box office. Veena is also preparing herself for her upcoming Bollywood “The City That Never Sleeps” which is produced by Satish Reddy.
Veena Mallik Comes in a Procession
Pakistani actress Veena Mallik on Friday came to Kapali Theatre in a procession and watched the first show of her debut film 'Silk - Sakkath Hot Maga' with the audience. Veena is in Bangalore for the past few days for the promotion and release of her first film 'Silk'. On Friday Veena Mallik was brought in a procession from Gandhi Statute to Kapali Theatre where the film opened to housefull shows. Veena long with hero Akshay and other came in an open vehicle and lot of fans welcomed her in Kapali Theatre. After her arrival Veena watched the film with the audience at the Kapali theatre. Veena said she was very much excited and thrilled to watch the film with the audience.
'Malli' shoots important scenes
The shooting of 'Malli' directed and produced by Subhash on the banner of Divya Vamsi Combines, introducing choreographer Vidya as hero and Mumbai model Palak as heroine is progressing at a fast pace in and around Hyderabad. Some important scenes are being shot on hero Vidya, heroine Palak, second hero Farooq, character artiste Tanikella Bharani and others at Madala Ravi house. Speaking on the occasion, Subhash says, 'It is a youthful love and mass entertainer. I am giving preference to screenplay and characterisation than the story while moulding the film on the screen. I personally scripted the dialogues with the inspiration from Atreya. I am elated when senior artistes like Tanikella Bharani and Annapurna complimented me after listening to the dialogues. I am sure that the film would be a big hit.
'Malli Malli' coos Raj Aditya
Raj Aditya who debuted with 'Pourudu' starring Sumanth and Kajal, is now busy making the movie 'Malli Malli' casting Skanda and Kalyani in the lead. Dinesh Kumar produces the movie on Sri Sahasya Entertainments Pvt Ltd. A press meet was recently organized to brief the media on Nov 5 at Prasads Preview Theatre. On this occasion speaking to the press director Raj Aditya said, 'The shooting that has been on the run for awhile was completed recently. Dubbing works are being carried out now. The storyline is made in the backdrop of a day in the life of a young man who is an introvert. Made on a fresh scale, the movie also boasts of highly rendered technical aspects. The audio will be released on this 21st. The movie is most likely to be a December release.' Cast of the film includes Sachin Bhedekar, Venu Madhav, MS Narayana, Krishna Bhagavan, Kondavalasa, Ananth, Srinivas Reddy, Melkote, SS Naveen, Ravi Prakash, Apoorva, Master Bharath, Geetha Singh, Fish Venkat, Rajesh and D.Bharath, Raghu. Music is by SS Thomas and Dasaradhi Sivendra does the cinematography. Editing is carried out by Marthand K Venkatesh. Ajay kumar has written the dialogues. Lyrics are penned down by the lyricists Veturi, Ananth Sriram, Rama Jogayya Sastry and Kedarnath.
'Malle Puvvu' tuning....
Music mastero Illayaraja is tuning the songs for 'Malle Puvvu'. The lead role is being essayed by Bhoomika, and V. Samudra is the producing as well as directing this film. This film will start rolling from today. Fashion designer Ramesh Varma has come up with the story for this flick. According to the producer cum director the heroine of the film Bhoomika will sway the audience, because the plot is such and full of peaks and troughs. The producer-director has also expressed his happiness and gratitude to Illayaraja who is tuning the music for this film. A fresh face Murali will be introduced as hero with this film. The other cast of this plot include Bramhanandam, Kovai Sarala, and Shakuntala among others. Vemagiri has penned the dialogues for the film and the fights have been choreographed by Selvam. Anil Bhandari is the camera man while Ramana Vanka has taken care of the art.
Malai Kallan is back
Rajkiran is back on track with recent releases like Thavamai Thavamirundhu, Kireedam and Thottal Poo Malarum. The latest news is that several long-pending movies of Rajkiran are getting ready for completion and may hit the screens one after another. It may be recalled that a couple of years ago, a movie titled Gold Medal starring Rajkiran went to floors. Following the successful comeback of Rajkiran, the movie is expected to go to floors again. Interestingly, the producers have opted to go in for a Tamil title to avail the tax benefit. According to sources, Gold Medal is changed to Malai Kallan. Remember it was the title of a yesteryear MGR classic.
