Apparently hero Dileep and heroine Kavya Madhavan are popular as a super hot pair on silver screen after acting in more than dozen films in Mallu circuits. Here is an interesting news. Kavya got married to one Nischal in 2009 and she got divorced in 2011. At the same time hero Dileep got married to heroine Manju Warrier and both divorced last year. Rumours are rife that Kavya has disturbed Dileep's marital life and responsible for separation. Owing to that, today morning Dileep and Kavya got married in Kochi. Anyway, good luck for the newly married couple.
Vikram looks up to Mallu movies
When the chips were down, Vikram got a fresh of lease with Shankar's Anniyan. The movie raked in moolah not just in Tamil Nadu, but also in Andhra Pradesh and Kerala. However his next Maja did not exactly set the cash registers ringing. Now Vikram is all keen to repeat the Anniyan magic in his next Bheema, the shooting for which is currently on in Chennai. The actor, who is flooded with offers in Telugu and Hindi, is keeping silent waiting for Bheema to get over. The latest buzz is that actor, who had acted in several movies in Malayalam before, watched Vadakkumnathan which stars Mohanlal in the lead role. He was impressed ths script and storyline of the movie that has reportedly acquired the remake rights of the movie. Once Bheema is completed, the actor may begin works to shoot the Tamil remake of Vadakumnathan. Previously it was Vikram had got the rights of another Malayalam movie Chandhupottu.
Allu Arjun to meet Mallu fans
With Yodhavu (Sarrainodu's Malayalam version) reportedly getting resounding openings, Stylish Star M(A)llu Arjun is going to meet the Mallu fans today. The Mega hero has for years enjoyed huge popularity in Kerala. His fans and the audience in general have warmed up to Boyapati Srinu's direction, besides giving a positive verdict to Rakul Preet and Catherine Tresa. It is in this backdrop that Stylish Star is touring Cochin and Thrissur today. The massy entertainer has won a great applause from the Malayalees, standing even better than the Mollywood films released Friday last. Hope this trip will gain more fans and audience for Allu Arjun. Released as Yodhavu with the tagline 'The Warrior', the movie was released across 80 centers. Besides running to packed houses in some theatres, the actioner did a resounding business in Malabar and Travancore, which are two of the centers where dubbed movies are known to do well.
Mohanlal Dominates NTR in Mallu Teaser
As the Telugu teaser of NTR's Janatha Garage got record views within hours of its upload and continue to get more views, the Malayalam teaser too making right noises not just there but here as well albeit for few other reasons. Contrary to its Telugu teaser, the Malayalam teaser starts with Mohanlal repairing few parts of vehicles and he clearly dominated NTR in the half-minute-odd teaser. This has become talking point now. Though Tarak has got due screen presence, but unlike Telugu, Mohanlal clearly dominated Tarak in the Malayalam teaser. He is also seen beating goons. And there're few fresh, different scenes in the Malayalam teaser in comparison with the Telugu teaser. Well, Tarak fans have to take this in their stride as Mohanlal is the face of the film in its Malayalam version. This in turn helps NTR as well as it's good chance for him to expand his base in Kerala where already Bunny has good fan base. Unofficial ban on dusky Mallu heroine
Dusky beauty Amala Paul has made to headlines with the film "Myna" and then her decision to go glamorous for Telugu films yielded more. Surprisingly she got married to director AL Vijay when her career is in peaks and now as they are getting divorced, seems like everything got into a trouble. Kollywood sources are reporting that an unofficial ban is being implemented on Amala by big heroes and producers. Actually Vijay's father Alagappan is close to many heroes and directors and he's seeking their support to get Amala expelled from Tamil industry. Will this ban really happens? Currently Danush has signed Amala for Vada Chennai movie and if he moves ahead, then many other young heroes might sign this hot lady. Can AL Vijay's father stop her? Only time will tell.
'Pravasi Ratna' Mallu Arjun!
Although we have 5-6 star heroes competing for the top slot in tollywood, stylish star Allu Arjun is the uncrowned king when it comes to market of Telugu heroes in Kerala. All the films of Bunny release in Malayalam and they have been good hits too. Bunny's latest release 'Sarrainodu' brushed off several records by collecting close to Rs 8 Cr. Smitten by Bunny's films, Star Asianet Middle East, one of the top Malayalam channels, has now decided to award 'Pravasi Ratna Puraskaram' to him. Bunny will be honored with the award at the annual Onam event "Ponnonam 2016" to be held at World Trade Centre in Dubai on 19th August. The entire Kerala diaspora residing in gulf is expected to be present as the audiences. Bunny has already been informed of this award and apart from thanking the management for the honor he has also given his nod to attend the event.
