Rajinikanth has bagged the third spot in the Zoom Supernova 2010 top 50 list. The first place went to Salman Khan and Aamir Khan was selected for the second place. The Zoom TV, an entertainment channel from the Times of India Group, described the Superstar as a demigod – ‘Rajinikanth who is a demigod unto himself.’ The Badhshah of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan was placed in the fourth place while the Oscar winner AR Rahman is in the fifth place. It is interesting to note that Rajini and AR Rahman were the only South Indians who managed to get into this top 50 list which is dominated by the north Indian celebrities.

Comedian Sathish and Sivakarthikeyan share a very good rapport that everyone is aware of. Both of them had a fun conversation in Twitter today, 24th of June, about Remo posters and Sivakarthikeyan’s feminine looks. Sathish initiated the conversation tweeting “#Remo Ada enakke unna love pannanum nu thonudhu ma... Semmmmmaya irukka po @Siva_Kartikeyan” Sivakarthikeyan, in a fun tone, replied by tweeting “@actorsathish Chi Porikki Neeyellam Akka Thangachiyoda porakala ??” Sathish finally ended the conversation by confessing that he had fallen in love with the Remo Lady. “@Siva_Kartikeyan paravaalla pa. nan indha ponnu kitta manasa pari kuduththutten. Ne poraama padama poppa” he tweeted. Amidst this, Vishnu Vishal joined the club saying “@Siva_Kartikeyan @actorsathish thalaiva careful aa irungu with sathish around u..;)” The fun love tweets of Sathish and sarcastic replies of Sivakarthikeyan was for sure enjoyed by all fans and twitter followers of the duo.
'O Manase' brisk shooting
Sri Champakadama productions maiden venture of R.Vishwanath 'O Manase' starring Dhyaan and Jennifer Kotwal is shooting briskly at Balagangadaranatha Swamy College in Kumbalgod on the outskirts of Bangalore. Several scenes with groups of students in the college featuring Dhyan and Jennifer were shot by director Sharan. This is the first combination of former college friends in HR College Mumbai ' Dhyaan and Jennifer in Kannada. Both are familiar faces among the Kannada audiences with a series of very good films. Director Sharan is scoring the music for the first time. Jagadish Wali is behind camera. Ananthnag, Vishwa, Komal, Sadhu Kokila, Rangayana Raghu, Sihikahi Chandru, Seetha, Chitra Shenoy, Mysore Ravi are also in the cast. Manju Mandavya has penned the dialogues and Malur Srinivas is the choreographer while Ulavi Prasad has written the story and lyrics.
'Manasu Palike Mounaragam' audio on September 10
The audio of 'Manasu Palike Mounaragam' directed by Nagabhushan and produced by Dega Devakumar Reddy on the banner of Sri Dega Art Productions with Vikramaditya and Sneha in the lead, would be released into the market through Aditya Music on September 10. Producer Devakumar Reddy says, 'Union minister Dasari Narayana Rao is attending the programme as chief guest and unveils the audio at a function to be held at Prasad Labs on September 10. Radhakrishnan gave melodious tunes to all the songs. We have almost completed the shooting part except the canning of two songs.'
'Padaharella Manasu' audio unveiled
The audio of 'Padaharella Manasu' directed by Kamal and produced by Mandapati Radhakrishna with Amritha, Bhanupriya and Suresh in the lead was released at Prasad Film Laboratories. Popular character artiste Ranganath unveiled the audio and handed over the first cassette to noted journalist and film PRO Trade Guide Venkateswara Rao. The film is based on the problems faced by the girls of 16 years of age, who start going to college in teenage. Alphonse is the music director.
'Moggina Manasu' in censor battle
The second production of 'Mungaru Male' fame E.Krishnappa 'Moggina Manasu' is caught in the censor trouble. On the contents in the film the Bangalore regional censor board chief Chandrasekhar gave 'A' certificate and that has irked the producer. This is belittling of my prestige and it is not 'A' grade film argued the producer and also inquired with the women censor board members who were present. 'I am a responsible personality in the society'. What do the people think about me said Krishnappa to the censor members for denying the U certificate. You have done a film of teen age girls that is the reason why we are forced to give the 'A' certificate said the censor chief. The attitude of E.Krishnappa has perturbed the censor chief in the heated exchange of words. Producer Krishnappa did not agree for the 'A' certificate. The censor chief Chadrasekhar did not budge. Now a letter of complaint from each of them has reached the Karnataka film chamber of commerce. The intervention of the President of Kannada film producers association Sandesh Nagaraj in this case has not been fruitful. Meanwhile the regional censor board has approached the Mumbai office for finalizing the certificate. 'Moggina Manasu' scheduled for release on 28th of April has now been postponed. The theatre booking, hoardings displayed and prints ordered has affected the producer E.Krishnappa to the extent of Rs.40 lakhs says the production in-charge Mr Pratap.
