Mandahasa Releasing On 30th In Triveni

In a sudden turn of events, 'Mandahasa' which was scheduled to release in Anupama theatre in Bangalore has been changed as 'Jayammana Maga' will be rereleasing in Anupama. So, 'Mandahasa' has been shifted to Triveni theatre and 'Mandahasa' will be replacing 'Tony' this week. Earlier, 'Mandahasa' was announced in Anupama theatre. But actor-producer Vijay has decided to shift 'Jayammana Maga' from Bhumika theatre to Aparna. Vijay says that many people are saying that going to Bhumika theatre is rather confusing and so has decided to rerelease the film in Anupama theatre from the 30th of August. Meanwhile, 'Mandahasa' starring Rakesh Adiga, Nikki and Chethan which was supposed to release in Anupama has been shifted to Triveni theatre. 'Tony' was released in Triveni a few weeks back, but as the film is in deficit, the producers have decided to stop the run and give the theatre to 'Mandahasa'.

Madarasapattinam audio released

The audio of Arya and Amy Jackson starrer much waited flick ‘Madarasapattinam’ was released yesterday evening in a grand manner at the Chennai Trade Centre. The legendary actor Kamal Hassan, the chief guest at the event released the audio in the presence of director Shankar who was the guest of honour. Bala, Sibiraj, Bharath, Sasikumar, Prabhu Deva, Parthipan, Vasanth, Srikanth, Lissy Priyadarshan etc. were attended the event. The young music director of the film GV Prakash says “It is a very special day for me, as I had done a lot of research on the music of the film.” Sources say “The guests had to walk through Mount Road of that era with Elphinstone theatre, trams, horse drawn carriages and small petty shops. Vijay and his team brought about a certain amount of authenticity that left everybody awed. The VIP’s were brought on stage in a train with a steam engine. Four of the five songs from the film have been presented on the stage by Rukmani, Piaa, Amy Jackson and Arya. The only song to be visualized on screen was ‘Meghame, Meghame…’ that was picturised touching the background of a ‘dhobi ghat’ in old Madras.
