Nagarjuna's Women fan following gives kick
ollywood Manmadhudu Akkineni Nagarjuna is celebrating his 57th birthday today. Even after working in movies for over three decades, Nagarjuna is still one of the most sought after actors in Tollywood. Though Nagarjuna has done different kind of roles in his movies, he is known for his romantic roles. His stupendous success in romantic dramas like Geetanjali, Nirnayam, Ninne Pelladutha, Manmadhudu, among other movies has earned him the epithet of ‘Tollywood Manmadhudu’. On the occasion of his 57th birthday, Akkineni Nagarjuna has given an interview to one of the leading media outlets. In the interview he has expressed an interesting point. Nag said that ladies following gives him kick and that’s what keeps him young and energetic. “Even I have not expected that I would be hailed as a romantic hero, when I entered movies. Though I had done roles with different shades in different kind of movies like Shiva, Geetanjali, Annamayya, Ninne Pelladutha, Hello Brother, among others, audience admired me most in romantic lover boy roles. These roles have endeared me to women fans. In fact having ladies following gives me great kick,” said birthday star Akkineni Nagarjuna.

For the role of a prostitute in this flick, Andrea Jeremiah was approached by the makers. Believing that playing such a strong character will help her create a huge impact, This Multi-Talented Beauty has given her nod immediately. Vetrimaran penned the story & screenplay for 'Vada Chennai'. He will be wielding the megaphone for this movie which goes on floors from June 15th, 2016.
Devi Sri Prasad to groove with Pawan Kalyan
Devi Sri Prasad will be seen matching steps with Pawan Kalyan in a song in his upcoming Telugu action-drama "Attarintiki Daaredhi". "Devi will be seen grooving with Pawan sir in a song called 'Ninnu chudagane' in the film. He will only feature for a few seconds. It will be more or less a cameo," the film's spokesperson said. In the past, Devi has made cameo appearances in songs in Chiranjeevi's films such as "Shankar Dada MBBS" and "Shankar Dada Zindabad". In Allu Arjun-starrer Telugu action-drama "Julayi" also, he featured in a special number. This will be the first time that Devi will share screen space with Pawan Kalyan. Mostly known for his tunes in Telugu films such as "Jalsa", "Manmadhudu" and "100% Love", Devi has also composed music for Tamil films such as "Singam" and "Sachin".
Ram and Samantha were Insulted
Hero Ram and actress Samantha were absolutely livid with the organizers at the launch of International Children’s Film Festival in Hyderabad. When Tollywood’s Manmadhudu Nagarjuna arrived at the function, he literally drew all the media attention when his name was announced by the host Dia Mirza. Even Veteran filmmaker and Movie Mughal Rama Naidu was also introduced to the audience. But Ram and Samantha, who were sitting in the front row, and arrived to the function in time, were ignored and the couple never expected their names to go missing! Miffed with this gesture, Ram and Samantha decided to make an early exit. But when the lights were switched on, host Dia Mirza was informed about her gaffe and then she finally announced to put the hands together to Ram and Samantha. But they did not turn up, and everyone thought Ram and Samantha left. But after sometime both were spotted in their seats – much to the host’s relief!
Ragada is a known plot with new presentation
Nagarjuna starrer ‘Ragada’ is gearing up for its release on 24th, December. Meanwhile, the unit of Ragada is busy in promoting the film to a full extent. Nagarjuna’s super hit films Manmadhudu and Mass were released in the same month, December. So, the fans are expecting the same level of success with ‘Ragada’ too. Nagarjuna conveys that ‘Ragada’ is a known storyline but the director’s presentation is distinct and will surely attract the audiences. “There is nothing new or different in terms of plot but Veeru Potla’s presentation is new. Ragada is a full-fledged entertainer with great songs, smart dialogues and good action sequences. It is definitely not a thought-provoking film, but makes you smile and enjoy while watching,” says Nagarjuna.
