Movies based on a serene plot that entertains the whole family sans vulgarity are the assets that made director SV Krishna Reddy widely acclaimed by the Telugu audience. The film 'Bahumathi' starring Venu and Sangeetha was seen last from his side and there was a noticeable gap before his current project started. His next is a completely hilarious entertainer casting Sivaji, Ali and Srinivas Reddy in the lead cast. Produced by Zee Entertainments, the movie has been titled aptly as 'Masth'. The crew of Masth was out touring Bangkok recently canning songs in those locales. Presently, they are back to Hyderabad in the Annapurna 7 acres filming scenes in a Police Station set erected for the movie. Scene featuring Raghubabu, Suneel, Uttej and others is being done here. One can expect a pristine comedy flick from the director this time.
Mamtha as a director in Kucheladu
Many of our regular readers would have read about Mamtha making an appearance in the new film 'Kucheladu'. We had also reported earlier that she had already shot for a song with Rajinikanth in the film. But the latest reports suggest that Mamtha is also donning the role of a director in the movie. In a sequence of a cinema shoot that is shot for this movie, Mamtha will call the shots to Rajinikanth, who will act according to her suggestions. Many expects that this role will do wonders in the career of the star, who is already flying high doing characters in different languages. Mamtha's new assignments include the Tamil film with Madhavan, 'Chinthakalyanam' in Telugu and Musafir in Malayalam. Her new films in Telugu like 'Victory' and 'Homam' will grace the theatres in a short while.
'Manthra' Kalyan Ram's film stars Sivaji
Producer Kalyan Ram made his first film 'Manthra' on Generation Next banner starring Charmme and Sivaji playing the hero and heroines. The movie was directed by a debutant Tulasi Ram who paved way for an acclaimed hit. Kalyan Ram who tasted the fruit of success with this first venture, is now planning to enter his next project. The proposed flick stars Sivaji in the lead role. Ramakrishna, who worked as an associate for director Venky in the film 'Kabadi Kabadi', is set to direct this movie which will be his maiden venture. The cast to play the heroine and other roles is yet to be decided.
'Fitting Master' begins shooting
Shooting of 'Fitting Master' directed and produced by EVV Satyanarayana on the banner of EVV Cinema with Naresh as hero and a Mumbai model Madalasa as heroine was launched recently in Hyderabad. The film is coming up as one of the best entertainments. The shooting of the film would be completed in a single schedule and the producer cum director is planning to release the film in December. He had plans to introduce new faces, who could dominate the present day comedians on Telugu screen. Chinna is scoring music for the flick.
'Fitting Master' speaks for parents
EVV Satyanarayana's next Fitting Master inculcates to youngsters that parents deserve more love and respect. Starring 'Allari' Naresh and debutant heroine Madalasa Sharma, the movie directed by produced by Evv Satyanarayana on his production house EVV Cinema as his Production No-8. The maker renowned for his humor quotient in the movie is making 'Fitting Master' in the same amiable vein. The title itself speaks about Naresh's character which has the habit of provoking a fight among other for entertainment. But it all ends for good. The movie has a unique theme with his trademark riot that will keep the eyes of the audiences filled with joyous tears. The director is keen to make an impact on the contemporary youngsters with his theme that shelters parents and goes on to say they should not be disdained for the sake of the newly formed love between a girl and a boy. The theme is quite new and might reach the masses well for its distinct combination of satirical humor. The unit is preparing to start its latest schedule of shooting from 1st of November, in the locales of Visakhapatnam and Aruku. During this schedule a song, some scenes and few fight sequences will be canned.
'Mastang Mama' is ready
The production of the film 'Mastang Mama' has been completed. The out and out comedy movie tells the story of the relationship between a dysfunctional Mama and Bhanja. The young actor Ruslaan Mumtaz, Tanay Chheda ('Tare Zameen Par' fame) and Gulshan Grover are the main actors in the film. The story, screenplay and direction is by the debutant Vikram Singh and is produced by Nikhil Panchammiya under the banner of Fourth Wall Productions. The other actors in 'Mastang Mama' are Kulraaj Randhawa, Asrani, Brijendra Kala and Dinesh Lamba.
